Well, a few rugged Canadian winters, especially in Nova Scotia, would cure you of that....or kill you. Not sure which you’d prefer lol.

“I had already seen that from the first search. 😄”

Is that why the catalitic converters are being cut right off people’s cars in the middle of the night or whenever the opportunity arises?

Maybe that is why several years ago we took our Chevy Malibu in because it was doing weird things and the guy in the garage said it was the catalitic converter and said he could remove it. Dumb us said go ahead.

I always thought it was for the copper.

Gotta keep the money coming in to take care of those younger spouses (current wife is 54).

Great. Now I’m thinking about a news story a few years ago, about an aged writer/musician/actor being fought over by the current spouse and the daughter. I can’t remember the details so I’m sure I’ve got some wrong. I’ll have to look it up just to make myself happy! Hopefully I have enough details correct to be able to find it...

Yup! I had just found it. Not sure how. LOL

Looks like Tim Conway had the same thing before he passed.

Buncha fatties, here in the US....we curve out the bell bottom.

We’re amazed each time we’re out in public, at the, um, girth of the majority.

Get those walking shoes ordered, Friends. Fall is just around the corner :-)

Exactly that. They contain platinum, palladium, and rhodium, which are the most expensive metals. They have some copper but these others are way more valuable.

Wow.

Interesting how Mexico is second to US. I wonder how that graph has shifted over the years as we get more & more immigrants from Mexico. Seems like that would be an influence.

It was; seemed like his wife was trying to hide him from the family.

I’m sure glad I’m poor; no one is gonna fight over me! LOL

Unless you have a catalytic converter or two laying around.

This sounds like good news. Is it, or is it meaningless?

That’s an interesting question.

Don’t know if I can help with that, but this has some intriguing info. Yes, it’s CDC but not COVID-related. Scroll past the overall map to the 3 breakdown maps.

Hmmm...not sure. Don’t have enough info yet.

But I’m not liking the sound of this sentence:

The Secretary of State’s office found enough evidence during its investigation of a recent security breach in which passwords to elections systems were posted on social media.

Looks to me like they’re trying to blame the clerk.

I haven’t been able to keep up with the symposium today so not sure about the plans for tonight.

Here’s something I just found:

As kitties age, they become more susceptible to illnesses such as high blood pressure, cancer, diabetes mellitus, cataracts, glaucoma and eye infections, all of which can cause blindness, according to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. While sometimes vision loss comes on suddenly, many times a gradual progression of these illnesses slowly reduces your kitty’s vision over time. Some breeds, such as the Abyssinian, Siamese and Persian breeds, may suffer from an inherited genetic condition known as progressive retinal atrophy, which eventually results in blindness.

If your kitty’s blindness is a permanent condition, you’ll need to make some adjustments to your home to account for his lack of sight. Cordon off stairs or other potentially dangerous places with a baby or pet barrier. Keep your kitty’s food, water and litter box within a short distance of your furry friend’s favorite napping spot. Install night lights around your home to help older kitties deal with partial sight loss. Don’t rearrange furniture or leave clutter in your kitty’s path. Keep your elderly buddy indoors; he can’t see well if at all, and he’s more susceptible to injury and disease outdoors because of his age. Before interacting with your little one, announce your presence to him by saying his name calmly as you approach him — you want to warn him of your presence, not scare him.

Copied from Godzila

Wuhan virus -

OBSERVATION - Yes, starting off with an observations because CONTEXT is everything and all the craziness needs to be put into that context. In the realm of these ‘vaccines’ (Pfizer and Modna) and their effectiveness to prevent infections lets remember, they were designed to reduce SYMPTOMS and reduce the severity of the infection - not stop it. Here are a couple links to remind us of that. The first from about 10 months ago -

https://www.webmd.com/vaccines/covid-19-vaccine/news/20201027/early-vaccines-wil-prevent-symptoms-not-virus

Fauci then ““The primary thing you want to do is that if people get infected, prevent them from getting sick, and if you prevent them from getting sick, you will ultimately prevent them from getting seriously ill,” he said.”

Another from Oct 2020 -

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/fauci-vaccines-will-only-prevent-symptoms-not-block-the-virus-195051568.html

Another Fauci quote - “Early COVID-19 vaccines will only prevent symptoms, not block the virus”

FOLKS - if they only prevent symptoms - THEY ARE NOT A VACCINE.

That noted - it is being reported by NBC News and CNN that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is hoping to announce approval of booster shots for immunocompromised people within the next 48 hours.
