Atlanta - Montina Daniels of Lawrenceville, Georgia, got the Pfizer COVID-19 shots months ago, through her former employer.
"I got vaccinated in January," Daniels says. "I got both doses. Months went by. I went to Vegas. I traveled back to Michigan."
Then, Fourth of July weekend, the 49-year-old Lawrenceville mother of two hosted family from out of town, and she says they were all over the place.

"We were in grocery stores, restaurants," she says. "We went to a small gathering. We were bowling."
Daniels has no idea how or where she came across the coronavirus.
But, a week later, Daniels says, she woke up with a fever, aching all over.
"It hurt to walk," Daniels says. "It hurt to do everything, from my fingertips to my toes. I went to the urgent care, and I tested positive for COVID."
She is one of five family members to test positive for the virus, and was the only one who was vaccinated.

For the last month, the much more contagious delta COVID-19 variant has been spreading across the US.
The CDC says the spread of the delta variant is being driven by unvaccinated individuals.
But, with so much virus circulating, there is growing evidence fully vaccinated people like Daniels can contract the virus and may be contagious, spreading it to others around them.
Daniels spent two weeks in bed, struggling with fatigue and pain, but she has no regrets about getting vaccinated.

You just can’t fix stupid in this day and age.
And yet, she’ll blame the unvaxxed and be first in line for that booster.
Article doesn’t say much about symptoms apart from fever and severe muscle pain/ache.
That sounds pretty much like my reaction to the second shot - it hurt to do anything. But it went away after less than two days, and I’ve been fine since.
She’s probably gotten advice from some of our resident FR ‘doctors’ about how wonderful the vaccines really are.

Just offhand, she doesn’t strike me as someone who reads FR.
With her underlying conditions, do you think it would have gone better for her if she’d contracted Covid WITHOUT having had the vaccine?

Many young people today just aren’t conditioned to deal with stress or with falling short of expectations.
Nobody knows but if the government and the fake doctors/scientists who assist their efforts would tell the f’ing truth we’d all know more about what her outcome might have been.
Vaccine is a defined term in law and under CDC and FDA standards. A vaccine has to stimulate an immunity in the person receiving it. And it must also disrupt transmission. That’s not what this is. Even the drug manufacturers admit the jab or its mRNA does not stop transmission.
The jab is a treatment, but if it’s discussed as a treatment it would not get the sympathetic ear of public health officials because people would ask what other treatments there are. And alternative treatments would hamper FDA’s ability to issue emergency approval of the jabs as a vaccine.
Defining the narrative with the term vaccine is a sucker punch to open and free discourse. “Vaccine” throws the discussion into one of pro/con vaccine. The jab is a mechanical device in the form of a very small packet of technology inserted intoe the human system to activate the cell to become a pathogenetic spike protein manufacturing site.
No basis exists to stipulate this is a vaccine. Simply put, this is a chemical pathogen device meant to unleash chemical pathogen production within a cell. It’s a medical device (a bio-weapon), not a drug. The jab is not a living or biological system, but rather a physical technology that just happens to come in the size of a molecular package.
I don’t think they know enough to say. I’m sure they put out a lot of propaganda, but I think the ‘truth’ is that they just don’t know much.
I don’t doubt that the whole issue of Covid has been grotesquely politicized by people who have wanted to use it to serve a political agenda.
But the majority of scientists and docs have built their response on knowledge of prior epidemics and their ‘best guesses’.
You’re kind of on your own, in this mess. Gather all the knowledge you can, and use your own best judgment. Government isn’t going to ‘save’ us with regard to this or any other issue.
Covid is just a glorified rendition of the flu that's being used to scare the phuque out of everybody and ruin the economy for political reasons.
It's developed into a whole cottage industry that is making millions of dollars for a lot of people.
Is it real? Yes. Is it the end of the earth? No. It's part of our lives and existence on earth.

The vaxx fetish is disgusting. This has been the lowest point of the history of FR in some who push it forgetting where they are acting like CDC influencers and sycophantic tyrants.
And it’s never going away.
People have to stop believing that we’re going to ‘conquer’ Covid-19. All we’re going to do is subdue it somewhat.
It will eventually become far less common, and we’ll reach a great level of herd immunity.
(Millions in the US contract seasonal influenza annually - and many thousands die. I’ve occasionally taken the ‘flu shot and STILL gotten the ‘flu.)
