People have to stop believing that we’re going to ‘conquer’ Covid-19. All we’re going to do is subdue it somewhat.
It will eventually become far less common, and we’ll reach a great level of herd immunity.

Well, that vast majority have naturally conquered SARS. So kudos to our omnipotent immune systems!
Hopefully, after we get through this, the variants will become less potent. Eventually COVID-19 will be one of the viruses that cause the common flu. Maybe after a couple of mutations, it will end up like that.
I agree. And that's why I believe the Left has latched on to this pandemic as a "crisis they won't let go to waste".
The corona virus and the covid "pandemic" are the new climate change for the Left. They can scare the phuque out of people with it, they can control and manipulate the population with it, they can use it to cheat in elections, they can destroy the capitalist economy with it, they can use it for a bunch of things that further their Marxist agenda.
"Just two weeks to flatten the curve" has already turned into over a year of Leftist bullshit. The Left will play this pandemic for all its worth. Now, with the vaccine chaos, they will stretch this sucker out for years.
If it hasn't already happened, it will soon be the case that society will be divided between the vaccinated and the unvaccinated.
For those of us who have chosen, for whatever reason, not to get the vaccine, we will be forced to live lives as second class citizens, like convicted criminals, for not getting the jab.
We'll have to wear labels indicating our status so those elite in society who have gotten the shots, can shun those of us who chosen not to. We will be required to post a sign on the front door of our homes that we are not compliant to the tyrants.
We will be considered the unwashed. The uncivilized. The unprivileged. We will not be able to travel on buses, trains, or airplanes, attend public venues like sporting events or concerts or go to the beach, eat out in restaurants, shop at the stores in town, workout at the gym, get jobs, have our kids attend schools, go on a cruise without being refused services that are available to the vaccinated. We might even be refused service at doctors, dentists and hospitals because we exercised our freedom to choose.
Trust me. This situation is exactly what the Left wants to exploit the public and to get their way. The covid pandemic will be around for years and years, if not decades, just like global warming and climate change has been. It'll probably evolve from one name to another like climate change has where we're now dealing with the Green New Deal, but this is straight out of Saul Alinsky's, Rules for Radicals and the democRATS' stale old playbook.
