A class-action lawsuit has been filed against Johnson & Johnson with the claim that the company’s OGX hair care products cause significant hair loss.
The products are sold at major national retailers, including Target, Ulta, CVS, Walmart, and Walgreens. Johnson & Johnson shampoos, conditioners, and some hair oils are among the products named in the lawsuit.
The plaintiff, Larissa Whipple, an Illinois woman, cites the ingredient DMDM hydantoin as the main concern. DMDM hydantoin is a preservative and antimicrobial agent sometimes found in hair care products. It’s considered a “formaldehyde donor,” meaning it releases a small amount of formaldehyde over time to keep the product fresh.
But formaldehyde donors like this one have been linked to allergies, rashes, hair loss, and cancer. The Department of Health and Human Services’ National Toxicology Program has said formaldehyde is known to cause cancer.

Will Mr. Whipple be available for comment?
You can’t sue over the effects of old age.
I used Johnson & Johnson No More Tears as a kid, and I’ve lost hair since then.
I guess “No more tears” has morphed into “no more hair” ...
You think this is bad, you ought to try their covid “vaccine”.
for ONE MILLION DOLLARS
I heard it makes all of your children to be born naked.
Okay, but do they have hair?
Many chemicals are “potentially” harmful to humans in some way, but many times that “potential” is not met in some products because the chemical or the release of the chemical is not at or above a toxic level to humans; because humans have some degree of ability to mitigate many harmful effects of many chemicals if the rate of exposure is low enough.
It will be curious to see if the plaintiffs or J&J mention what level of exposure to DMDM hydantoin, over what time frame, is scientifically proven to be toxic and if the plaintiffs can meet that test.
Well, that’s one way to take care of your hair forever.
Use it once, and you never have to worry about your hair again.
Well, goes along with their “vaccine” causing heartbeat loss and brain activity loss.

Keeps cadavers fresh for medical students too.

No wonder they allow bums steal garbage bags full of cosmetics.
I was using their OMX shampoo and losing a great deal of hair. The loss has diminished substantially now that I have switched to a different brand. There is validity to this claim.
To say they haven't exactly been hitting it out of the park lately would be an understatement.
