NEW: Frito-Lay workers reveal that they’ve worked up to 5 months straight without a day off, and that multiple coworkers—driven to exhaustion—have died by suicide.

Their strike in Topeka is gaining nationwide attention. Now Frito-Lay workers in other states are speaking out. pic.twitter.com/yppQ8iPn3n

Always look for bags with lots of air. Fewer crushed chips. The chips are packed by weight. Depending on the destination, if there is too much air in the bag, they will burst going over mountain passes or to high altitudes.

I worked as a Frito Lay production supervisor for about 15 months 40 years ago. They don’t give a shit about their employees. They would shut down for Christmas, maybe for a shift on Thanksgiving. Easter, they didn’t give a shit about that.

My fault!

Been stuffing my face again.....(orange fingers are hard to clean).

They confused me in grade school, they had the base of the food pyramid colored Orange, so I thought the Orange food group was to be the foundation of my diet.

But that still doesn't explain the collusion between the hot dog makers never packing the same number of weiners as a pack of hot dog buns. We're not "a bunch of trusting nitwits" who are gonna play their game anymore! LOL

I'm removing the superfluous buns. Love that scene.

In reality, the bun makers saw this, removed one third (33%) of the buns themselves, and then reduced the price by 15%.

It's always interesting opening things here in Albuquerque that were packed and sealed at sea level. My kitchen counters are almost exactly a mile up based on my GPS (5,280' at waist level out my front door).

Same goes for Cheetos. Off brand cheese puffs/curls are terrible with the exception of a brand or two that aren’t even trying to be the same flavor (like some fancy blue cheese ones someone used to have). Or at least, they used to all be terrible. I don’t do as much of that kind of snacking as I did in my college days.

They were about the first to fully support LGBTWHATEVER yet they keep wanting more. Who is still buying their chips?

“give us a fair raise”

And cut out the 40 hours a week of overtime(which pays 150% of the base 40 hours).

I suspect labor and management are both crazy.

I never had a job where management had employees work compensated overtime on a normal basis.

“PepsiCo is fully on board with those trying to bring down this country and turn us into a one world hellhole.”

More amigos - more Frito-Lay chips sold.

The US rich think the US government can’t legally levy a substantial wealth tax. They are wrong.

“How about we protest buying their bags of air with some chips thrown in.”

True, but the weight of the chips is printed on the bag, so it’s not like you’re kidding.

Besides, Lays makes the best potato chips and corn chips.

"But I've never had a substitute Frito corn chip that was nearly as good."

Agreed but Wise's Corn Chips are awesome in their own way, particularly as a base for chili. Also substantially fewer hilum (black) spots than Frito's.

I don’t know why their original Fritos are so expensive

Not to mention their products are basically poison.

I haven’t purchased Lay’s in can’t remember when. Store brand is cheaper and I dumped them back when I realized a potato costs 20 cents. One or two potatoes weigh the same as a bag of chips.

Save yourself $3 and don’t contribute to lefties by frying up your own potato chips.

Want BBQ or sour cream and onion or whatever flavored chips? There are countless powder recipes online using spices you probably already have on hand.

Want Doritos? Fry or bake corn tortillas at 4 cents/oz plus spice mix cost vs Doritos at 27 cents/oz.

Frito Lay would make a good name for a whorehouse on the southern border.

With places competing over the few people that want to work why stay with a job you think is killing you?
