A George Floyd mural in Toledo, Ohio was destroyed by a lightning strike Tuesday afternoon, according to witnesses.
WTVG reported their Doppler Radar did show a lightning strike on the same block as the George Floyd mural at 4:30 this afternoon.
The lightning strike, which hit directly on George Floyd’s face, reduced the mural to a pile of bricks.

UN-likely that the person survived from the patterned blotch left on the pavement.
We have had a series of seasonal thunder storms here and we have been careful not to be out in it.

Floyd whose death while tragic, and was caused by an overzealous police officer. Was not a person worth honoring. Floyd was far from a paragon of moral virtue.
I can think of a lot of black people that are far more worthy of honor than Floyd.
