The old Stanford-Binet test was just an achievement test that measured expected knowledge against actual knowledge based on a standardized curriculum in American schools at the time.
My mother was measured at 165 on that scale in 1946. Although she was quintilingual and graduated first in her high school class, I can safely tell you that she was not out of this world smart. But she was pretty damn smart.
The test changed in the ‘50s and ‘60s to allegedly be independent of school curriculum. But it will always suffer from the basic fact that it has to be given in a native language and ask for comprehension of mathematical concepts which will vary depending on schooling. So it’s not obvious WhAT it’s measuring.
As for the Biden score, that’s beyond comical. The idiot has been talking gibberish since the early ‘70s.
As Joe would say its high, you know, the thing.
It is possible, that at one time he had an IQ of 149.
Today, not so much.

The whole decimal thing in IQ scores is beyond stupid, it is there to make you think that someone can accurately measure your IQ, which is in itself total BS.
Hunter Biden is a great example, one day he might be smart, the next day his cognitive abilities might drop to near Zero
Ronald Reagan scored 130 and Biden scored 149.
Thus proving that dumb people are smarter than smart people.

Isaac Asimov had an IQ estimated around 200. Yet he was a complete left wing nut. He supported the anti-Semitic party, the Democrats, and hated Reagan. So was he “smart”? In some ways yes. But in others no. A truly smart person can see an enemy and deal with it. He allied with his enemies.
IQ does not equate to wisdom. It measures some aspects of intelligence. But if that intelligence is filled with screwy data then the results will be poor. This explains why so many college grads are screwy. They get their minds filled with completely false information. Next thing you know they are accepting utterly stupid and discredited economic theories.

There are things here that don’t look right. Hard to believe about Joe Biden. Either this was done a long time ago or it is complete fabrication.

Perhaps not. He could have been smart. He did manage a 45 year Political career culminating in the top spot at the WH doing nothing but influence peddling. Immoral, power mad, lazy, lying and intelligent are not mutually exclusive.
Note that they reversed the findings all to place Trump at the bottom. That’s probably close to trumps IQ.
