The United States Has Been ..IS ..A Socialist Country. We are just finding it out
Feeling like we are being controlled | July 9, 2021 | Vanity

Posted on 07/09/2021 8:47:40 AM PDT by frnewsjunkie

With all that is going on in our country, we did not know how deep it is or how wide. President Trump pulled back the curtain and we can see if we want to see.

With the Justice Department, judges, and our government, plus the media... all are working against the people and against the Constitution. We say do not vote for a socialist... keep it out. Keep us free.

It's already here.. if you don't feel it.. look around!

I'd like to hear how others are seeing all that has gone on for the last 3 years.

Just look at our out of control FBI as a perfect example of a national police force.

There’s a reason the Founding Fathers made the personal Income Tax unconstitutional. Once implemented, the government is opposed to its constituents.

I personally believe the one place we, the real people, can make a difference in, is on the public school board.

ALL POLITICS IS LOCAL, right ?

So get involved for everyone you know instead of whining and opining about hundreds of millions of people you never met, never WILL meet and corresponding to and with them does nothing for you, living on 123 Everyman's Main Street, USA.

Run, with passion for America's future, for your local school board

Yes on taking the local school board on. What some are doing to our kids is so damaging. Once they get wrong, sick information and ideas into the heads of the children... it’s there! Innocence gone.

Some years ago, we went to work to get a teacher fired for lack and not willing to correct it. It took us 2 years and it is not a pleasant task. But care enough and don’t quit.

Today there are teachers who are so far from normal... so far from qualities to teach our children... to have them under their control for 7 - 8 hours

Norman Thomas was right. I think we’ve hit the slippery slope on totalitarianism, though.

We’re not yet socialist but we have long been authoritarian and the authoritarianism is getting worse.

Where this authoritarianism hits us first is when we interact with the government’s enforcers: law enforcement.

Over the past thirty years we’ve seen many if not most police departments morph into paramilitaries who no longer ‘serve and protect’ but who rule and control. Some sheriff’s departments have followed suit while other sheriff’s departments remain the community protectors they’ve always been.

It has become normal for police to force their way into people’s homes without a warrant, it has become normal for them to illegally demand ID from people as an intimidation tactic, it has become normal for police to use deadly force in typical traffic stops (see the Arkansas traffic stop last month), it has become normal for police to threaten and beat law abiding photographers in public even when said photographer is also a police officer.

Until we refuse to unconditionally “Back the Blue” unless the police obey the laws they enforce then we are conditioning America to submit to authoritarianism.

If we submit to tyranny in our neighborhoods then it’s all much easier to submit to tyranny in our state capitols and in Washington.

I hate to borrow a phrase from the leftists but if we are to put an end to the authoritarian state that will certainly facilitate a socialist nightmare then we must “Think Nationally and Act Locally”.

It’s obvious to those who see.

The government lets hunter biden alone.. and there is the laptop they don’t want to see. That laptop has enough really bad stuff, in it to send him to prison.
Instead they spend month after month trying to get Trump out of their way.
the senile man they put in the oval office... with the republican party okay with that. biden puts us in danger .. the whole world can see he is not fit.

One last comment. biden father and son are both corrupt and yet the fBI goes after the ones who are not... plain to see things are out of whack in a dangerouos way.

You labeled it well... it looks like socialism. the worst they can do is to get the whole of government to be corrupt. lady justice is gone. the safe guards put into our government are in the enemy’s camp.

My blue dog Democrat neighbor told me last night that getting a Social Security check is socialism, because even if we pay into it, we are getting back more than we pay in. It is required though, so how do I opt out?

How many judges are for taking our privileges? Once that side gets the power from the courts and government.. to control us, there won’t be any avenue to right this ship.

AS small a thing as a mask... to say we have to wear one to enter a building.. we were good sheep.. we did as we were told.

That worked well enough to keep it up longer.

Socialism is a very broad term and we are not dealing with Scandinavian style socialism. This is a very authoritarian movement we are dealing with, much like Chinese communism.

A woman who escaped communist China spoke at a school board meeting recently and explained that all she witnessed in the Cultural Revolution was occurring right now in America.

The bad part about this whole thing is many CEO’s of multinational corporations absolutely love the Chinese model and have been very open about it for quite a long time. And they fund Democrats.

My thought is the Democrats want a Chinese style system and Republicans are the Uighurs. The Chinese say the Uighurs are terrorists or have the potential to be. Does that not sound similar to “violent extremists”, “white supremacists” or “Christian nationalists”?

“We’re not yet socialist but we have long been authoritarian “

Of course we are socialist. The collective is always placed ahead of the individual. The economy is centrally planned in numerous ways with some “private” ownership as long as it serves the collective. Medicine is 75% socialized between medicare, medicaid, obamacare, and the prescription drug plan. Social Security is socialist with it’s means testing, and lack of ownership of your account. How about growing a raisin? They all must feed into one common collective and cannot sell their wares elsewhere.
How about the official state atheism and militant hatred of Christianity?
The military draft/registration is known as “selective service” since Wilson created it. Why? Because he claimed the nation “collectively” volunteered via the Congress declaring war, and that he was only “selecting” soldiers from a giant pool of volunteers. Add in a myriad of new deal and great society programs which are steeped in socialism.

Americans swim in a sea of socialism and claim they are not socialist. We are.

As my dad used to say, “if this isn’t socialism, we can sure make do with it till a real socialist comes along.

Do not confuse welfare programs with socialism. Norway is a massively capitalist nation that funds a significant welfare system with the proceeds from oil and national wealth fund investments.

Socialism means the government controls all aspects of the economy and effectively usurps private ownership of everything.

And what have you learned boys & girls in your truly socialist government owned & operated school?

By voting, people can get “free” K-12 education, “free” school lunches, “free” SNAP food benefits & “free” health care. They can also get highly subsidized (such as $170/month on a $1,500/month apartment) housing & child care. And they can even get “free” money - Joe Biden wants to give my mommy at least $3,000/year for each of her children.

That cheapskate Santa Claus fellow won’t get my vote.

And there’s no “from each according to his ability” requirement with Joe Biden and his Democrats. They aren’t Marxists or Communists. Why the Chinese Communist constitution requires those adults able to work to work.

Consider this, if most Americans really would vote for socialism, why does Deep State have to steal elections...?

🤔
