Let’s face it, they’re waiting for one of these vaccination squads to get shot and killed. Then the weepy tributes to how brave they are, then the ensuing laws giving them police power, then the real squads get put out there.
What is your source for this assertion? There most definitely is a digital record.
Already posted. Go back and read. The state databases that exist are incomplete and almost all of them have opt out provisions. A few states are opt in.
There is no national database, despite the fact that you might wish there was one.

If that’s the case, then travelers coming from States that don’t mandate IIS participation are going to have a tough time proving vaccination status. The various COVID-19 passport apps pretty much all depend on the QR code which is part of the digital record.
Both of these screeds are from leftists who are whining about the impossibility of verifying vaccination, but they are accurate in so far as what the system is:

Even NY’s system doesn’t prevent people from sharing screenshots and it only can track NY shots and then only those who haven’t opted out of the State database. (Something I recommend everyone doing if you are in an Opt out state.)
Depends on the State, then. California has a mandatory IIS in place to track all vaccinations, and I know that the digital record exists for my COVID-19 shots, because I pulled my own record. The digital record matches the information on the card, and has a QR code.

The census takers came to our door about 3 or 4 times when we didn’t fill the long form out over 10 years ago. We filled out the regular census, but then they sent out the long form to selected households with questions that had nothing to do with a census. They even banged on the door one time when we didn’t answer. They could probably here us in the house since we had company.

The Amish do go to hospitals and many do, when educated get vaccines for their children though as to what they are doing with the covid vaccinations I don’t know. The level of such involvements with the medical system depends of the belief traditions of each order of Amish, old order Mennonite, and so forth down through the sects as well as the amount of information that has been made available to the various sects.

Most of our Midwest Amish do not get vaccinations. In my last conversations with some of them, they clearly see this leading to the “Mark”. I am proud of them!
Exactly my thought about these door to door people. I had to drag my elderly mother away from the door and scold her for talking to a census worker and we live in the middle of nowhere, I mean, REMOTE.
You can opt out of the California registry. The form is on the CAIR website. I’d encourage anyone living in that cesspool to do so.
Why would I want to opt out? I want my vaccination records in digital form so it is simpler to travel.
