The cashier at one of my frequently patronized stores was pregnant last year. She's a pretty young woman. Her dad is black, mom is white. She finally had her baby. A little boy. He is fair skinned with red hair. She just returned to work about 3 weeks ago.

LOL, my family was the same. My parents both had black hair. My baby brother and I are redheads. We found out we are Scot/Irish but not until years later.

When I was little a common question to my parents was “where did she get that red hair”? Finally Dad started quipping back “the milk man”. Well, that was back when milk was delivered to your door in little bottles. One morning Dad opened the door when he heard the milkman and horrors of horrors he had red hair! They had never seen him until that day. LOL

Some time back, I watched a Taiwan TV series call the Office Girls. There were several characters that exhibited what must be considered as auburn colored hair. That is, rather than black the hair was reddish brown especially when back lighted.

The hair color wasn’t red but it was close

The Office Girls is on NetFlix and is excellent TV
