Love it! I made a similar thing many, many years ago in a tiny apt in NYC. It was much less sophisticated and complex. It was just a finished board that dropped down on a couple of narrow chains and you could have your coffee at it or write your musings on a yellow legal pad.
No I-Pads in those days, alas. If there had been, my tiny drop-down desk would have been perfect, since it was about the only thing that could fit in the minuscule kitchen.
However, this desk takes it to a whole different level.
