The Centers for Disease Control is investigating three mysterious cases of a bacterial disease that is typically found in tropical climates — yet the infected people have not left the United States.
In a health alert posted Wednesday, the CDC said that they are working with the health departments of Kansas, Texas and Minnesota to determine how three people — two adults and one child — contracted melioidosis disease, an infection caused by the Burkholderia pseudomallei bacteria.
The first patient to be diagnosed with the disease, in March, died 10 days after being hospitalized, though they had two preexisting conditions, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and liver scarring, that put them at high risk of serious illness. The other two patients were diagnosed in May, and one is still in the hospital while the other has been discharged and sent to a transitional care unit, the CDC said.

Idiots can’t figure out how tropical diseases from...oh I don’t know let’s say Somalia...got to Minnesota?
Normally, you get this via inhalation of contaminated dust/mist/water, or drinking contaminated water, or eating contaminated food.
The CDC ‘says’ (it’s always hit and miss with them)....that you just don’t see many cases where it goes person-to-person.
I’d be asking the people affected....who has served you food in the past week. I’d also be suspicious that it’s only a handful affected.
If that Somali moslem whore contracts it we’ll have our answer.
Also!
I just hope there’s enough of the CDC left that isn’t a woke political operation to actually do their job on cases like this. Because the CDC is mostly a woke political operation if you ask me. I came to this conclusion a little over a year ago, once Covid really got going, and I did a small amount of digging.
If the people won’t come to the disease, we will bring the disease to the people!
A tropical disease sounds much more ominous than a Wuhan flu. Strap in!
A hideous infectious disease is surely a small price to pay for the glories of diversity, and for the luxury to prattle about the glories of diversity as an anecdote to the horrors of whiteness.
“A hideous infectious disease is surely a small price to pay for the glories of diversity, and for the luxury to prattle about the glories of diversity as an anecdote to the horrors of whiteness.”
In today’s dumbed-down and indoctrinated America, there is a sizable percentage of the population that agrees with that statement. (God help us!)
...One reason public health authorities study the disease is because it is possible that the germs that cause melioidosis might be used in a biological attack...
This isn’t transmitted person to person, but it’s a reportable illness.
Because of the bioterrorism concerns...?
Could it be that bacteria “somehow” found itself in Covid-19 masks?
Agreed.
All anyone interested needs to do is check the donor list to the CDC Foundation and the percentage of that money to their total budget.
why does the CDC have any credibility? They’ve been shown to have become a political organization...
Border crossers.
Just go to the CDC website and search for “diversity” or “equity”. Thousands of results. I don’t trust them to diagnose a blister on my finger.
