Women whose periods appear to have been affected by the Covid vaccine have demanded clearer health advice about a possible link between the jab and menstrual cycles.
Changes to menstruation are not listed as a formal side effect of the vaccine and much of the information is currently anecdotal.
The UK’s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has received reports from more than 4,000 people who suffered period changes after the jab.
Madison Miszewski, 21, said she had experienced longer, heavier and more painful periods than she had for several years after having her Moderna vaccine in late May.
Amy, who preferred not to give her last name, had such a heavy period two weeks after her Pfizer vaccine that she called 111 and was put on medication to slow the flow.
“It was terrifying,” she said. “Only after did my friend tell me she’d read about it happening to others.”
For Jen Rainnie, 47, her period came unexpectedly ten days after each dose of AstraZeneca – with severe cramps.
“As there was nothing about it on the AZ leaflet, I had to do my own research online and came across the study in the US so I have completed both their online survey and the yellow card site set up in the UK,” she said.

Of those I know personally who’ve had the shot, two were diagnosed with cancer within 2-3 months. Boths were fine on their last annual checkup.

A friend works at a Natural Foods and Medicine store.
They are inundated by women whose periods have massive flow since being vaccinated, looking for a something, anything, to stop the bleeding.
A little Thalidomide will clear that right up.
