UFO report: Government can't explain 143 of 144 mysterious flying objects

The U.S. government can't explain 143 of the 144 cases of unidentified flying objects reported by military planes, according to a highly anticipated intelligence report released Friday.

[snip]

"In a limited number of incidents, UAP reportedly appeared to exhibit unusual flight characteristics. These observations could be the result of sensor errors, spoofing, or observer misperception and require additional rigorous analysis," the report said.

The report does not mention aliens or even vaguely hint at an extraterrestrial explanation for the reported sightings, but makes clear that much of the phenomena may be beyond the existing means the government has to identify such objects.

[snip]

A senior U.S. government official said ahead of the report's release Friday that, "We have no clear indications that there is any nonterrestrial explanation for them — but we will go wherever the data takes us."

The official added: “We do not have any data that indicates that any of these unidentified air phenomena are part of a foreign collection program nor do we have any data that is indicative of a major technological advancement by a potential adversary."

I would be interesting to see if any of the 140 sightings were by our ISS.

And heavier than air machines will never fly.

Never happen!

Physically impossible!

Anyone who thinks that doesn't understand the force of gravity.

You have no idea what ‘most’ stars can provide. There are billions and billions of stars in this galaxy alone, what to speak of the uncountable galaxies in the universe.

And you have no idea what type of ‘life’ is possible. I remember growing up being taught that life cannot survive in underwater volcanic vents... until we found that it can.

And you have no idea what exists beyond the sliver of the plane of our perception — the 95+% of the universe that is ‘dark matter’ and ‘dark energy’.

If you have studied the abduction accounts discussed by John Mack, Budd Hopkins, and David Jacobs, you will notice that the abductors have certain weaknesses. I wouldn't say that Mack, Hopkins, and Jacobs are/were even aware of such but it comes up often enough to raise one's curiosity.

I'm not saying there is a proven link between the abduction phenomena and the Navy's UAP's, but there are a lot of apparent connections.

I'll leave it at that.

Yep, the EVIL CIA “lording over” the military saying “we can take you out any time, in ANY or ALL WAYS.

heavier than air machines will never fly.

We seem to have a bunch of Lord Kelvins around here.

Among his hilarious quotes:

1896--I have not the smallest molecule of faith in aerial navigation other than ballooning...I would not care to be a member of the Aeronautical Society.

1900--There is nothing new to be discovered in physics now. All that remains is more and more precise measurement.

We don't know what we don't know--Homo Sapiens has a serious case of the Dunning-Kruger effect:

It appears to be incurable...

Which are?

For the record there is no way the UAPs are from any current Earth civilization.

Again, for tge record, these images are clever depictions made from emissions detected by it, thermal, magnetic and perhaps other novel systems attached to airplanes via gimballed equipment that move track and articulate independently of the aircraft. So, think in at least 3d, perhaps 4d, an emitter moving or existing based on natural forces(think ball lightning, an ion plasma etc) and an airplane moving on a different altitude, attitude bearing and velocity. The sensor tracks abstractly the emitter, the plane flies at the pilots command and the emitter does whatever it does based on natural phenomena.

Is bet watching that would make you dizzy and confused, as the norm would be to assume all things in the air fly as you do. Except none other than things with wings perform aerodynamically.... The Enterprise of Captain Kirk does not bank and swoop like Star Trek depicts.

Why the autopilot leap to “alien” when there is no evidence to lead anyone with a rational mind that way?

With today's imaging technology I have to wonder why the only “photographs” are always so fuzzy and grainy.

This is my same reasoning also. To them we are just fish in a bowl.

“It just does not make any sense that of all the races in the world developed from just 2 people.”

Yep, The concept is illogical. We are genetically engineered hybrids.

“there is even a famous painting from the Middle Ages which features a saucer in the sky.”

Actually several, And many many ancient depictions from all over the world. From cultures that had no clue each other even existed. Yet... same images, stories, and similarities.

These have been around since before the beginning of man. :)

The wife and I discussed this earlier. We have the ability to geneticaly engineer plants and animals, we do it all the time. Unethical for us to do it to humans but we have the ability. The human race arrived on this planet geologicaly in a very short time and no way did we geneticaly evolve to what we are today without a little help.

Well that’s no help. I guess that means the US Navy was operating in the Middle Ages (many paintings with UAP) as well - they do get around, it seems.

Yeah, they were busy doing that also back in the 1300s according to many paintings from the Middle Ages and according to Christopher Columbus’ diary. Those old time Europeans probably stole the technology from the Romans, who stole it from the Greeks, who stole it from the Ancient Egyptians, who stole it from ...

Changed my mind - it was the US Navy going back in time with their super technology that started this whole thing - Yeah that’s the same navy that has its most advanced ships collide with container ships ... twice. Well according to some here anyway its the Navy’s doing.

Silly me, I should have known the Hitties had advanced sensors and high performance aircraft and maybe even warp drives....i think I’ll go to Turkey and look for an ancient junkyard....
