UFO report: Government can't explain 143 of 144 mysterious flying objects

The U.S. government can't explain 143 of the 144 cases of unidentified flying objects reported by military planes, according to a highly anticipated intelligence report released Friday.

[snip]

"In a limited number of incidents, UAP reportedly appeared to exhibit unusual flight characteristics. These observations could be the result of sensor errors, spoofing, or observer misperception and require additional rigorous analysis," the report said.

The report does not mention aliens or even vaguely hint at an extraterrestrial explanation for the reported sightings, but makes clear that much of the phenomena may be beyond the existing means the government has to identify such objects.

[snip]

A senior U.S. government official said ahead of the report's release Friday that, "We have no clear indications that there is any nonterrestrial explanation for them — but we will go wherever the data takes us."

The official added: “We do not have any data that indicates that any of these unidentified air phenomena are part of a foreign collection program nor do we have any data that is indicative of a major technological advancement by a potential adversary."

The ODNI and the DOD admit that something solid is invading our secure airspace over ships and military installations AT WILL and we cannot identify it or prevent it.

Furthermore, the "something" invading our secure airspace acts as though it is under intelligent control and demonstrates behavioral characteristics which are significantly more advanced than our own technology.

Hmmm.

Must be a swamp gas-filled weather windbag.;-)

Russians and Chinese have probably shot some down and know what they are. Alternatively, the UFO’s are theirs.

I think you can take home three key things.

First, they seem absolute in that it’s not anything of ours (secret lab project, etc).

Second, our technology gain in the past decade has reached a level where we can ‘see’ them and record the moment. So just having pilots say they saw them is now backed up with film/data.

Third, the Pentagon seems to say they really don’t think it’s the Russians or Chinese advancing. One statement in an interview went to the level of saying this ‘show’ was a hundred to a thousand years more advanced than what we have currently.

So the bottom line? Nothing. You can’t say it’s alien...until you down one of their vehicles.

The government can’t explain most things

That’s OK, plenty of people who didn’t see them can explain them and do so all the time.

Are you assuming that there are no photographs because they have not shown them to you?

There was a classified report submitted to the Senate Select Committee for Intelligence yesterday afternoon that contains classified "images."

I think that’s an accurate assessment.

True.. I am assuming that, since they aren’t showing me anything, it means they don’t have anything to show.

Perhaps.

This was also in the report on page 6: There were "11 reports of documented instances in which pilots reported near misses with a UAP."

Most of the "photos" were recorded by our most advanced sensor technologies (that's in the report). They can't release those images without giving our enemies a look at our classified imaging capabilities.

That's why they are in the "classified" report.

You can’t take home the first point. The government lies like hell, and would certainly lie about that one.

I’d argue that you can’t take home the second point, as all of the released videos and photos are garbage quality.

Finally, you can dismiss the third thing as well. Why would the Pentagon say it’s the Russians or Chinese, even if they thought it was?

The report is nothing, exactly as I expected, and the Government is lying and hoping to distract with this UFO nonsense.

I think you are probably correct.

The government knows a lot more than they are saying.

But these things are not ours or we would have seen by-products of these technologies in the marketplace.

And if they are Chinese or Russian...our goose is cooked!

It will all come out eventually, you can’t just expose everything at once.It would be sensory overload for the general public. For those of us that have experienced UFO sightings it wouldn’t be that much of a shock. But for those that haven’t, it could cause a world wide meltdown and panic.

“And if they are Chinese or Russian...our goose is cooked!”

If our intelligence is that crummy our goose has been cooked for a long time.
