"It is a commonly held belief amongst UFO researchers that other countries are waiting for the USA to take the lead on this investigation," says Ian Dubin, himself a UFO researcher based in Hong Kong. "Who knows what might come out?"

Congress is expected to receive on Friday the findings of a government-wide review into cases of documented but unexplained aerial phenomena and what might have caused them. Some details of the report have already been leaked, indicating that despite some compelling encounters Washington is not about to reveal the existence of "little green men." But those who have dedicated their lives to studying extra terrestrials say the report – and the legitimacy granted to the subject – will have a permanent effect on a field of study otherwise dismissed as one based in fantasy and conspiracy.
"Lots of people in UFO societies and the public in general are now feeling that they can discuss this without being put under ridicule," says Clas Svahn, chairman for the Sweden-based Archives for the Unexplained, among the most comprehensive digital libraries for UFO sightings and investigations into them by governments worldwide. "It's having very much a tangible impact, of course, when it comes to society and how we are dealing with the subject. I like that. That is something I applaud."
The effect is direct and twofold, Svahn says. Military pilots, who are often among the first to witness such phenomena due to the sophisticated equipment on board their planes, will now become much more likely to report incidents because the stigma is lifted from the subject.

And, Svhan adds, the release of the report will certainly prompt other governments – most notably China and Russia – to become much more likely to declassify information [...]

I recommend to your reading pleasure Arthur C. Clarke's Childhood's End. Short book, thought-provoking on this topic. Regards.
today’s UFO click bait number two
What the gubmint is going to do is, deny that there is any evidence of a threat to the security of the US from these phenomena, and deny that there is any evidence for an extraterrestrial, or indeed, terrestrial human origin for these phenomena.
Thank you. :)
Just curious... Since these have been around since before the beginning of recorded history are they really a threat?
Whatever they want — the answer is “No”.
Isn’t that what he said about having women in The Oval Office?
No. Impossible. Life formed here. Conditions would have to exist elsewhere in the universe for the same thing to happen.
Quibble — if they had been around before recorded history, we’d have no way to know about it.
Some of them are probably ET, but probably not all from the same place. When they hide in the seas, they’re probably not aqua-aliens, they’re probably hiding out a bit from the prying eyes of alien adversaries.
That’s from a perspective that we’re not being visited with an anthropological view in mind, but rather, we’re bystanders in a vast, multi-civilization galactic war. Actually, that makes the most sense from an anthropological perspective.
The person being interviewed here was a Navy cryptologist on the USS Roosevelt (which had a run-in with UFO's in 2019 IIRC). After the Roosevelt encounter, he began to experience beings in his bedroom at night and these took an occult turn.
The interviewer is someone who I have spoken to by email (Martin Willis). He has a solid weekly podcast and is considered one of the best interviewers regarding the issue of UFO/UAP's. I like Martin because he is very low-key, very knowledgeable, asks good questions, and lets the interviewee talk without interruption.
The link takes you to that point in the video where this particular guest is introduced.

There is an another audio podcast interview of this person (Matthew Roberts) that gets more deeply into the occult aspect of his experiences.
Let me know if you want that link.
THANK YOU! Check them out as soon as possible! :)
