Subway claims that its tuna is "100% wild caught," but a lab test paid for by The New York Times found absolutely no tuna DNA in over 60 inches of sandwich.

Any one who eats at subway is stupid.

What if you get a foot long to go and take
it home to eat are you still stupid?

Their lawyer claims that they were assured by their Chinese supplier that all the tuna was sustainably wild caught, and the have the Chinese paperwork to prove it!

Hey, if you can’t trust the Dissident Brand who can you trust?

Their bread is just absolutely inedible garbage. I’d rather eat a tennis ball.

“Fried nuts are good.”

I will never know. My wifes employee brought in fried cow tongue a few months back. Something else I will never know.

Pampa mackerel is available from Amazon and is a product of China, as indicated on the back of the can. The King Oscar brand comes in a sardine type can and costs more than the Pampa. It’s too fishy tasting for the war department (wife) but I love it.

Experts also told the Times that when tuna is cooked, its DNA becomes denatured, which means that the tuna’s characteristic properties can become destroyed and make it difficult or impossible to identify.

Science or headlines - hard choice for the Times.

Exactly. Make your own tuna sandwich. Why pay $6.50 for mystery meat and employee spit?

I can make 5-6 Schlotzsky original medium sandwiches (minus the Genoa salami because it’s not sold at our grocery store and isn’t missed on the sandwich), including from scratch buns and garlic spread, for the price of one at the drive thru window. -— Yikes, just saw their oven toasted is now $10.29 so that’s even more homemade ones for the price.

Meh, we’re all living to 80-90 or so, that’s long enough. Enjoy what you like and don’t sweat the details. Even 90 year Olds eat subway tuna fish sandwiches, and have for many years. Wil. It cause terrible debilitating illness? Likely not

Beef tongue is usually boiled and eaten cold. Rocky Mountain Oysters and it’s opposite sweetbreads are usually fried. Both are tasty.

What’s the best rattlesnake? A fried one.
