Many lynchings, including the only one in recorded Oregon history, involved bridges, rather than trees. And evergreens, generally wouldn’t be good. But.... facts....

I’ve never heard of using an evergreen for a lynching. Oak trees are preferred, although other deciduous trees can be used if an oak isn’t available.
