AOC calls out ‘white men’ who voted against Juneteenth
Queens Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez called out her House GOP colleagues who voted against establishing “Juneteenth” as a federal holiday.
“They were all men and they were all white. Like all white men. There weren’t even women. Like no diversity in it,” AOC told TMZ in an on-the-street interview on Capitol Hill.
“It just goes to show that there is a lot of denialism and that also kind of ties into why they don’t want us to teach the history of racism in our school either,” she added, taking a shot at statewide GOP efforts to curb critical race theory being taught in public schools.
Juneteenth marks the formal end of slavery in the United States and is the first new federal holiday in 40 years. Though there were 14 GOP defectors, the holiday vote unanimously passed the Senate and had overwhelming bipartisan support.

This holiday is part of the ongoing Communist Revolution. It is designed to upstage the 4th of July and open up a racist wound on a yearly basis. It is part of the Marxist divide and conquer tactic. Anybody who voted for this were either short sighted or bandwagon cowards.
I’d vote against it and point out that Memorial Day is the real day of remembrance for the freeing of the slaves.

As a so called “Person of Color” I call out the Democratic Party that tried to vote down the 1964 Civil Rights Act and The Voting Rights Act of 1975. Both these bills were supported By the Republican Party.
For sure they will scream it next year, but it will be roundly and soundly ignored.
For any celebration to take hold the vast majority must feel a connection to it, like the 4th or Christmas.
Without that emotional tie, its just another day, like Columbus Day or MLK day. The vast majority don’t care.
And this so called holiday will be on a par with national pickle day or kwanza.

There’s a way to neuter this crap. Sign into law; pass into policy making these types of federal holidays UNPAID.

AOC has no idea of the significance of ANY declared holiday celebrated officially in the United States. But is she ever quick to stick her oar in on any opinion as to who should be scorned or even cancelled.

summer time holidays people love. We have Memorial Day then a couple weeks later Juneteenth then a couple weeks later Independence Day.
Now we need holidays for late July and August.
yesterday I celebrated Republican Party Appreciation Day and toasted Abe Lincoln for the proclamation that made this new holiday possible.
Don’t forget all the white guys who fought and died to made the Republicans victorious in the First Republican-Democrat War. Since those brave men were also relatives of mine, where are my reperations?
