As a so called “Person of Color” I call out the Democratic Party that tried to vote down the 1964 Civil Rights Act and The Voting Rights Act of 1975. Both these bills were supported By the Republican Party.

Could you provide some documentation for that? I've been looking but mainly find the Dems supported that bill. Thank you.

Oh lord......you’ve been misinformed

A majority of Dems supported the civil rights bullshit legislation which btw opened Pandora’s box of POC preference and white demonization

A liberal to moderate block of GOPe supported it

Conservative GOPe were against it

Goldwater and Magnus and so on opposed it...they and the Dixiecrats...who were a minority in the dem party and who either moved GOPe or left or replaced by GOPe in the south by the end of Carter largely

There is a reason Goldwater carrier the cotton states in 1964

Leftist northeastern GOPe supported it

Moderates...some...led by Dirksen voted for it

You’re an example of how talk radio has not served is well but being inaccurate on history to suit their narrative

No offense
