Amazon has been hiring hundreds of thousands of workers for roles in its warehouses, which it calls fulfillment centers, but those employees have been quitting almost as fast as they can be hired, according to a huge report from The New York Times published on Tuesday.
Many of the over 350,000 workers Amazon hired from July to October stayed with the company "just days or weeks," the report said.

sounds like they have a definite “people problem.” And to me folks quitting as fast as they are hired shows the company needs to examine their work requirements and why so many are quitting.

150% annual turnover. That sounds like some ETO infantry division in WWII.

Business Insider is suspect. As bad as CNN.

I suggest folks stop buying from amazon. Plenty of small buisness out there.

BINGO.
They, as I understand it, treat people at least as badly as some of the Big Box stores - have to clock out to use the head, is just one example.
Offer a crap wage and slave-owner policies and folks will quickly find something better.

Soon enough, they’ll have robots replace all the people in the warehouses.

A while back there were some outlandish media reports about Amazon warehouse workers peeing in bottles on the job because they couldn’t take bathroom breaks.
I laughed those reports off, but then some time later an Amazon representative publicly admitted that the stories were probably accurate.
I wouldn’t care if every Amazon facility burned to the ground overnight.

A certain mid western based electronic recycling and resale branch in SC had about the same turnover. I lived it.
At the time, there wasn’t much else. It was the time of the wun.
