Maybe I’m in a tiny minority here on FR, but on constitutional grounds the judge is 100% correct.

I’m not saying the employer’s vaccination requirement is a good idea, but as an employer myself I find it delightful that a federal judge thinks the federal government should get the hell out of the employer-employee relationship entirely.

One can only hope that this same federal judge would find all federal labor laws blatantly unconstitutional, too.

Yes, you are in a minority here.

Although I understand where you are coming from.

Let me ask you this, what if you were forced to take an experimental drug, one that has been shown to have lots of known adverse affects, for you to operate your business? Would you still feel the same way?

You are looking at this situation only from the side of employer rights. In many instances I probably would agree with you. However, when that employer requires you to do something that has a real potential for life changing effects, then I fall on the side of the employee every time.

That is unless those life changing situations were well known when you took the job in the first place. I.E. climbing trees with no safety measures to reduce serious injuries, or climbing 100+ foot towers with safety measures in place and you are afraid of heights.

To me, it makes no difference if the government or an employer is requiring someone to take an experimental drug with known issues for you to be gainfully employed at the job you were previously employed at.

Out of the employer-employee relationship? Are you kidding me. Fauci, state governments, FAA, DOT, etc. have mandated Covid restrictions and pushed vaccinations to the point that private employers have to knuckle under. How much Fed and state money do you think Houston Methodist receives?

I agree that companies may be able to do this, BUT they also assume liability for ANY adverse effects.

Yes you are in a tiny minority that understands the actual constitution and the law. The judge was absolutely correct (and notice how they are turning on a Reagan appointee so quickly too). The other side is particularly butt hurt that the judge called out the nazi comparison which we see over and over again here on FR by the antivaxxer as reprehensible.

Private business is allowed to require what they wish. It is a private contract between two people. Apparently our so called conservative friends are really CINO as now they want law fare and to impose their will on everyone who disagrees with them

Good ruling by an actual conservative judge. Nice to see that he took those apart who would be so disgraceful as to invoke Nuremberg and Nazis.

Understanding the constitution and simple laws is a minority position on FR.
