Pick a car, any car, and there is someone who loves it, regardless of conventional wisdom or popular opinion. And our automotive lives are richer and fuller because of this. Case in point, this 1976 Datsun B210 for sale on Hemmings.com. Once positioned as an affordable fuel-miser, it's exactly the kind of car that typically gets used up and disappears from the collective consciousness. But not this one, as it turns out. From the seller's description: All original, extremely solid, retains all factory equipment from new, Original window sticker, Runs and drives great, feels strong with no hesitations, rattles, squeaks, or fading inside. Not very many of these little datsuns left in this condition. $13,500

yarf! my parents had one, what POS
It was just Datsun 210 iirc.
Didnt add the B until 1980 or so.
Datsun B210 was my first new car and it was great..Of course,I drove it for 6,000 miles the first year..Gas was 59 cents a gallon....Never even left my city...Just drove it ,no matter how small the distance was....IT WAS A GREAT CAR.......
We called those ‘Deathtraps’..........................
...retains all factory equipment from new...
Yeah, that’s what’s about to happen to this one. :D
I bought one of those for my daughter’s first car.
Horrible car, and dangerous, but cute so many liked them.
It would probably do well at a car show as a survivor. Not really a classic, but opinions may vary.
We had a 1978, and it had the B by then.
Actually, it was the other way around. According to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Datsun_210, it was the B210 from ‘73-’78 and the 210 from ‘79-’82
its being sold as a survivor.
That color.... I was expecting the hideous orange.
They’re used as limousines in Havana!
Owned a 79 hatchback. First new car. Liked it a lot. Tuned it by ear with just a screwdriver.
woefully underpowered
Yeah. It had trouble getting out of its own way

I drove a 1995 Ford Escort wagon for 16 years. Gave it to my twin boys and they wrecked it 3 times in 6 months.
I wish I had kept.
"Nobody demands more from a Datsun than Datsun...we are DRIVEN!!!"
Yeah those old Datsun/Nissans turned to rust real quick.
ours was that color with a weird sport package of black stripes called the “honeybee”
