Confections in Lufkin, Texas announced on Thursday that it would be selling rainbow cookies for Pride Month. The bakery, located in East Texas, soon faced backlash for its decision.
"Today has been hard. Really hard," a Facebook post from June 3 read. "We lost a significant amount of followers because of a rainbow heart cookie we posted."

I saw a TV commercial for Kay Jewelers this morning. In truth I have never before seen an ad quite like it.
It is needless to say that I will never purchase anything at Kay in this lifetime. I am uncertain if that Company is local or national. I was actually stunned at what they broadcast. Such a production was literally inconceivable just a few short years ago. Heck, to me, that was the case yesterday.

These stories don’t include what was posted.
The caption on twitter was “More LOVE, Less Hate. Happy Pride to all our LGBTQ friends! All lovers of cookies and happiness are welcome here” [rainbow]”
Point being - if you don’t support LGBTQ, you are a hater. Brushes everyone who isn’t 100% on board with Hate moniker. Save the virtue signaling.
They can sell any color cookies they want. Fine with that. Please don’t label those who disagree as haters. That was my issue.
