When was the last time you ordered convalescent plasma and gave it? In my extensive experience of giving It, it is of little efficacy.
The government cut funding because well designed studies demonstrated it is pretty useless. But you take this to mean it is a cure and the government wants no efficacious treatments. I assure you all of my colleagues and I would be screaming from the roof tops if something truly worked and was taken away.
Convalescent plasma is of minimal utility which is why it is not being funded anymore to the level it once was. Treatment evolves. It is important to keep up with it.
Should be simple enough; if you're concerned about human experimentation, do it in an animal model; or with consent, draw blood and do it in vitro after quantifying the titer of various antibodies in the one blood sample and (presumably) spike protein in the other.
It's an internet thing, arguing.
So, convalescent plasma is worthless. Good to know. The last 38 years of practice have been in error. Good to know.
I will henceforth no longer push convalescent serum as a therapeutic choice.

I think you are correct in the flaws of the study. I agree with you, however I think it does lend credence to vitamin D is not the sure fire prevention some think it is. I appreciate your critical and analytic look at the literature. There is much room for reasonable debate.

What is your success with convalescent plasma. I would appreciate hearing it. It doesn’t work squat in late phase critically ill. What point in the process are you using it and what are you seeing? Sincere questions.

It does when you realize that the Red Cross was following FDA guidelines and that the FDA just recently updated their guidelines to eliminate this. The Red Cross states on their website that they are aware that FDA guidance has changed and they are working on updating their procedures to enable vaccinated people to donate convalescent plasma

By the way, the Red Cross leadership is as corrupt as Bill and Hillary Clinton. The friendly neighborhood blood draw people are nice, but the leadreship of the Red Cross is hand and glove with the Deep State and all it’s allies world-wide. That came about because the Red Cross was useful to Bill/Hillary/Bill Gates type people and foreign dictators everywhere because it can cross militarized boundaries etc. Actually from it’s founding it was ‘obtained’ by some corrupt moneymen who saw the control it offered.

Just FYI, it took less than 30 seconds to find the Red Cross statement about this where they say they’re just doing what FDA says to do, and that the FDA recently updated their guidance.
In other words, it took longer to post this story than it did to find out it’s false.
