AIDEN Fucci has been taken into custody and charged with second-degree murder in connection to the death of 13-year-old Tristyn Bailey.
The 14-year-old is the only suspect in the murder of his classmate.
The St Johns County Sheriff's Office announced that the cause of death was "sharp force trauma by stabbing" on Tuesday.

OJ didn’t
im suprised, not amish
Aiden acted far worse and beyond than a lack of discipline in the household. He probably was raised in an abusive household and among a culture that is inherently violent.
Aiden, if not charged as an adult, will be on the streets in 5 or six years and will offend again in a manner just as, if not more violent.
Charged as an adult, I hope.
“ im suprised, not amish”
It is a sad state that it surprises me too when the perp isn’t “Amish”
I think it’s bizarre all around. When I saw a picture of the girl, I thought she was about 20. She was last seen at 1:30 am,. She had apparently gone out for the evening but had to talked to her parents around 11:30 pm (IIRC) …and her parents didn’t call the cops until10:00 am. This is a 13 yr old girl?
As for the boy, he could be a loser incel - she was fully clothed, btw, so probably was not raped - or he could be an even weirder nutcase. He was shown taking a selfie in the backseat of the cop car and flashing a peace sign …and I noticed that some of his nails were painted.
This is a very tranquil, prosperous subdivision, btw, and the kids both went to a very highly rated public school.
It’s a tragedy no matter what, and certainly the boy could be mentally ill. But I think a lot of it has to do with the insane moral and behavioral environment kids are growing up in now.
You need to get out more.
didn't we use to shield our little ones?...didn't we protect them from the dark side of life?....they grew up joyful and kind .....
I would not bet my life upon it. In fact, I would not even bet a penny that he will. If I was betting, I would bet that he gets away with it.
Playing with knives is just part of children growing up. The Democrats say so....
Ben I think you missed his sarcasm
Certainly a tragedy. My daughter was at the same cheer event in Orlando. I saw plenty of instances where children were misbehaving with zero consequences.
Side note: my daughter had a sleepover at a friend’s house last night. Was browsing through the next-door app and what do I see? The mother of the girl my daughter and her friends slept at complaining about the police being called to the house. I guess 3 officers were there. The mother, a liberal whom I dislike, stating the police were there for a noise complaint over a trivia game they were playing. One poster actually posted a picture of one of the girls sneaking around a car at 10pm. They were playing a game called manhunt. My daughter should be home shortly and the talk is going to happen. What if someone had thought they were going to break in to their house? They could have gotten shot at. My point is on this mother is she obviously lied and her kid is the same way. When I bought a car for my daughter I told her that kid will never be in her car and if she is and I find out the car goes away. To my knowledge that rule has been taken seriously.
Oh my gosh. Sorry about the absolutely horrific writing. I just reread the drivel I posted and actually had to work hard at making sense of what I wrote.
A 13-year-old out at that hour. I cannot imagine. What were here parents thinking?
You’re right, its very hard to control what goes on at your kid’s friend’s house. Some parents just don’t even deserve the name.
But you were on it and that’s what makes all the difference. She’s a lucky girl. I’m sure she complains about it now, but one of these days, she’ll wake up and appreciate it!
LOL!
All of the freaks and thugs where I live are “not amish”.
Where have you been?
I doubt that they were thinking at all…
The girl was on the cheering squad and perhaps the kids were part of the “life in the fasts lane” group as 13 year olds go. Team parents are often stage mommies who ignore a lot if they think it will make their child successful.
That said, I don’t now a thing about them, so these are just general observations.
One headline at the link, when scrolling down says that they were “students together before her death.” So I’m thinking, as opposed to being students together after her death? SMH.
