What lockdown? Oh, right, we had that for three weeks last Spring. It was creepy driving around. Like a post apocalyptic world where most people had vanished.

Crumpet! A Very British Sex Symbol (2005 TV Movie)
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0496266/plotsummary?ref_=tt_ov_pl
Plot

They were the glamour girls on James Bond’s arm, the vestal virgins in Up Pompeii, and the girls-next-door in Man About The House. They were the vampire victims dispatched in the first reel of Hammer Horrors. And they were the Carry On dolly birds, guaranteed to elicit a ‘Phwooar’ from Sid James. They were Crumpet! And this is their story. Tony Livesey sets out to rescue Crumpet from the condescension of history. Recalling his own childhood, growing up in front of the TV in a Burnley terrace, Tony takes us on a trip through three decades of popular culture. How did our thirty year fascination with Crumpet come about - and why did it end? What does it say about the unique British sense of humour - and about our changing attitude to sex? With contributions from Honor Blackman, Ingrid Pitt, Madeline Smith, Hill’s Angel Sue Upton, Leslie Philips and Wendy Richards, and with cultural commentators like Dylan Jones, Germaine Greer and Ned Sherrin, Tony gets to the bottom of this uniquely British phenomenon.

Where I live it’s 90% like it never happened....

It did kill two mid 90s relatives ....not properly treated I might add due to media hysteria against hydroxchloroquine

Isn’t a crumpet what we call an English Muffin?

You can follow the orders of Ontario Premier Doug (the Thug) Ford and stay home and make cherry cheesecake. If you don't, and you go outside without permission, you may be fined or arrested by Thug's goons, aka your local, or Ontario Provincial Police.

Azzhole!

I never knew what a crumpet is. It sounds pretty, though, as in “tea and crumpets”.

Our lockdown in Alaska ended last May. Life has been pretty normal since then. Unless you live in the People’s Republic of Anchorage. Then life still sucks for you. But my part of Alaska has been back to normal for a year now.
