When I go home to visit family in rural western NY (some call it “upstate” — it isn’t), I see more Confederate flags than I ever see in TN.
Ignorant people don’t even understand that it didn’t start life as a symbol for the Confederacy, slavery, etc. It’s a symbol opposing tyranny.
