Trump’s popularity falls among Republicans, according to new poll

Donald Trump’s popularity among registered Republicans has fallen in the 100 days since the end of his presidency, according to a recent poll.

The NBC News poll found that Republican support for the party was greater than the support for the former president, who was favoured by 44 per cent of Republicans.

The figure for registered Republicans in favour of the party over the former president, in comparison, was at 50 per cent.

It was the first time in almost two years that support for the Republican party was greater than that for Mr Trump, NBC News reported, and the first time support for the GOP reached 50 per cent against the former president.

The GOP worked hard to block a transformational President that they secretly hated. After he left office they worked overtime to erase his legacy while simultaneously taking credit for his great accomplishments (That they were dismantling) and simultaneously telling people that THEY were the right people to carry forward his bold agenda knowing they had zero intention of doing that.

• Over half (56%) of respondents still say "things in the nation" are "off on the wrong track". This matches Trump's pre-pandemic numbers exactly.

• Biden's Dispproval among Registered Voters is (43%), including 36% "Strongly Disapprove". Again, matches Trump's pre-pandemic numbers.

• Biden's First 100 Days in Office? 30% "Accomplished Very Little". Add in "Accomplished Only Some" and 47% grade below-average.

• Biden rated 44% "Somewhat liberal" + "Very liberal".

• Biden Disapproval numbers on his handling of "Border Security and Immigration": 59% !! SCHADENFREUDE!

• Biden's "1st read" numbers, meaning rate these people I'm going to read out to you, his "Very Positive" (29%) numbers nearly match his "Very Negative" numbers (27%).

• What these 3 NBC bozos didn't tell you: They also polled "1st read" for Police and Law Enforcement Agencies: 58% positive, only 24% negative. 32% "Very Positive".

• The rest of the questions reveal they skewed respondents to about a Democrat +6% bias, given the Congressional preference question and the "Government should do more" question.

• The NBC News poll was conducted April 17-20 among 1,000 adults — 60 percent of whom have only a cell phone — and it has an overall margin of error of plus-minus 3.49% among Registered Voters, which if adjusted along the Trump ask (leaving Neutral as n) would vet:

  * Very Positive: 25%
  * Somewhat Positive: 16%
  * Neutral: 12%
  * Somewhat Negative: 4%
  * Very Negative: 43%
  

• Adjust for the Democrat +6% bias and Trump is well into Positive approval territory.
