Me too...
I also miss Rush.
Deeply
American flag is behind his right shoulder, out of view in this perspective.
I immediately interpreted it as him getting up to take action.
The flags are basically permanently positioned. Moving the flags would be a huge violation of protocol.
His pose is ackward. Odd.
Which means ,.... it's not here/there
I see elsewhere it’s not a painting it’s a photograph, obviously tinted, taken for time magazine in 2019. Posted as a placeholder in the National Portrait Gallery until there is an official portrait.
I love this, I love him and I think I’m gonna cry. Please God, deliver this country from the brink......
.........................
Amen.
When military flags are positioned, there are strict protocols in place.
Dems take out military flags, whereas Trump, brought them back, battle ribbons and all.
?
Protocol on placement stands.
I dont know what you mean by ‘strict’ protocols? They are clearly not permanent and can be re-positioned. There is flag protocol and etiquette that formally should be respected. I have long forgotten the details of flag protocol since my military days, but moving a flag wasn’t a great sin then and I don’t expect it is now.
That dems have little respect for the military is nothing new since the Clinton years. They despised military personnel and were even offended by military assigned White House detail for wearing the uniform in the White House.
Where’s the flag? Seriously, the guy hugs the flag...and it isn’t in the official portrait?
It is a painting...paint it in!
If we could just reverse the 2020 election, the world would be a better place for all — even for demonicrats.
I love it, him behind the desk, it will drive them nuts.
You said “The flags are basically permanently positioned. Moving the flags would be a huge violation of protocol.”
If you are going to be insistent, please cite this protocol. Otherwise, lets not argue over trivialities. I just like the Trump portrait. It shows both his respect for the services and his Jacksonian philosophy.
