Waters has her say about Republican tactics in Congress in a Los Angeles Times op-ed piece she wrote, titled “I’m Not New to This.”
Congresswoman Maxine Waters has penned an editorial in which she maintains that critics are targeting her in a “blatant distortion of the truth.”
Waters attended a peaceful rally Saturday in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota to show her support in the fight against police brutality. When asked what protesters should do if there wasn’t a conviction, she responded: “We got to stay on the street. And we’ve got to get more active, we’ve got to get more confrontational.”
In an exclusive interview Monday with theGrio, Waters said, “I talk about confronting the justice system, confronting the policing that’s going on, I’m talking about speaking up. I’m talking about legislation. I’m talking about elected officials doing what needs to be done to control their budgets and to pass legislation.”
In an op-ed piece in The Los Angeles Times Thursday titled “I’m Not New to This,” Waters says that she believes the journey to the guilty verdict of former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin for the murder of George Floyd was “painful and difficult.”
“Many of those who joined in the sustained protests last summer did so for the first time because of what happened to George Floyd and were motivated by their newfound understanding of the pain Black people endure in this country,” she writes.

CA-43 is 46% Hispanic according to Wikipedia. Guessing well over 50% in the upcoming Fake Census. C ya Maxine.
She seems to think this is 20 years ago where we did not have the ability to replay her EXACT WORDS which said if the verdict was not guilty we would have to get confrontational.
The contingency is what sinks her.
Waters is beneath her office and must resign. Pelosi too.
Deflecting, as par.
Does anyone else remember when the left wanted Sarah Palin’s head on a platter because she said reload?
I remember when they falsely charged President Trump for inciting “insurrection”.
No distortion necessary, you witch.
Re: 1992 Los Angeles riots
“Maxine Waters embraced Damien Williams, the infamous thug who hurled a chunk of concrete at truck driver Reginald Denny and performed a victory dance over this innocent man’s battered body. Maxine Waters even visited Damien Williams’ mother to offer her support.
Williams was sent to prison on a single felony charge of mayhem, but when his accomplices got off, Waters joined in the celebration.
Damien Williams was released a few years later and went on to [commit] murder...
Also, no surprise, he was a member of the Crips.”

“Reginald Oliver Denny (born 1953) is a White former construction truck driver who was pulled from his truck and severely beaten during the 1992 Los Angeles riots by a group of Black men who came to be known as the “L.A. Four”. The attack was captured on video by a news helicopter, and broadcast live on U.S. national television.
Four other Black L.A. residents who had been witnessing the attack on live television came to Denny’s aid, placing him back in his truck, in which one of the rescuers drove him to the hospital.
Denny suffered a fractured skull and impairment of his speech and ability to walk, for which he underwent years of rehabilitative therapy.
After unsuccessfully suing the City of Los Angeles, Denny moved to Arizona, where he worked as an independent boat mechanic and has mostly avoided media contact.”

“Antoine Miller climbed up and opened the truck door, giving an unidentified man the chance to pull Denny out and throw him on the ground.
Henry Watson stood on Denny’s neck to hold him down as a group of Black men surrounded him and Anthony Brown kicked him in the abdomen.[8][3]
As Watson walked away, two other unidentified [Black] men joined in the attack: one hurled a five-pound oxygenator stolen from Larry Tarvin’s truck at Denny’s head,[9] and the other kicked him and hit him with a claw hammer.[8]
News footage showed Damian Williams throwing a cinder block at Denny’s head, then doing a football-style victory dance in the road and flashing gang signs at the Los Angeles News Service helicopter of Robert Tur and Marika Gerrard.[3][10]
After the beating ended, some men threw beer bottles at the unconscious body and a man searched Denny’s back pockets, taking his wallet.[8][3]
Tur and Gerrard reported that there was no police presence in the area.[4]"

Maxine Waters on the Los Angeles riots of 1992 (Rodney King riots):
"In defense of the people that looted stores and damaged property, [Maxine] Waters said 'If you call it a riot it sounds like it was just a bunch of crazy people who went out and did bad things for no reason. I maintain it was somewhat understandable, if not acceptable. So I call it a rebellion.'[5]
She also said it was 'a spontaneous reaction to a lot of injustice' and 'The anger in my district is righteous. I'm just as angry as they are'. "

The Grio huh?...
Their main business is showing violent stereotypical 1970s Black Exploitation movies, mostly featuring black gangster men killing each other and slapping around black prostitute women.
"They're not going to stop," she said.
" This is a movement, I'm telling you, they're not going to stop, and everyone beware because they're not going to stop before Election Day in November, and they're not going to stop after Election Day.
And everyone should take note of that, on both levels, that they're not going to let up, and they should not, and we should not.”
"...a longer version of the exchange posted by the 'Late Show' shows Harris saying that the protests continuing is "critically important" to achieve change.
Sure, never forget while they will soon move to your neighborhood to sew upheaval. I work at a top medical university in Nashville..today they foisted this new ‘ Beyond the white fragility echo chamber‘ Teams Channel onto 28,000 employees. millennials are the admins.
Maxine instigated and incited the Rodney King riots:
She is responsible for inciting this, for example, during the LA King riots:
Waters needs jail time really badly. She is one of the key players who uses incitement of riot and insurrection to maintain the Democrat Slave Plantation for their own political ends.Waters has honed that incitement into an art form mimicked by hundreds of radical socialists. As King pin, we need to take her down.
Maybe Waters needs to experience what Denning experienced, a large brick up side of her head.
“newfound understanding of the pain Black people endure in this country”
My suggestion to those who feel all this pain... move to that country which has treated your people so much better.
There is nowhere on earth, in all of history, that has given black folks more opportunity, support, and downright advantages (affirmative action?), than the United States of America.
Your ancestors struggled, my ancestors struggled, life can be hard. Get over it, put on your boots and get to work!
rant over
She’ll get away with it b/c she’s black and doesn’t have to follow racist American laws.
The media have her back and will instantly label anyone who questions her as a hateful racist, just as they did with Obama.
Hey Mad Maxine, you lynched the White cop so you should be celebrating not whining.
When she said “The only good human is a dead human” that’s when I was shocked.
Maxine knows nothing of Video and Sound recordings ,LOL
How can calling for being “more confrontational” than arson and assault NOT be incitement to violence, MaxiPad?
“blatant distortion of the truth.”
Laughable beyond belief coming from these people! We all heard you say it Maxi, there was NO mistaking it.
