I have always felt that regardless of the legalities, the sight of Chauvin’s expressionless face while onlookers were screaming at him to stop was just too hard for people to forget and even harder to shrug off.
Guilty was a lock. I would have bet my house on it.

Yep - I heard. It’s what I expected -really. Listening to War Room - Rudy on now. He’s gonna have a podcast up tomorrow on Mad Maxine - no equal justice under the law.
He said this case was too difficult to defend due to the Video. Wasn’t really surprised at the verdict - didn’t seem to really disagree with the verdict - although as pointed out, there’s a bit of contradiction in finding guilty on unintentional as well as intentional death.
Justice should not be based on facial expressions or stupid onlookers. What Chauvin did could not possibly have caused Floyd’s death; LE all over the world use the same method.
Understood and agree but hard to set aside the revulsion one felt when viewing the video of the event. Add that to the plain truth that if found not guilty there would be hell to pay, the verdict was a formality. I didn’t watch it, read about it or listen to analysis of it. I didn’t have to. I knew the outcome before it began.
BTW they will still riot.

So when stores, churches, homes, and post offices are burned down and owners and or stakeholders killed while begging for these places to be spared?

Perhaps. My opinion is that the jury just did a CYA verdict for every count.
If Chauvin’s attorneys aren’t stupid (don’t think so) their efforts were not focused on winning at this stage but setting the stage for appeal.
Wouldn’t surprise me if the judge also didn’t make some rulings that wouldn’t survive appeal, on purpose.
Give the mob a guilty verdict, Chauvin spends a few weeks in jail, gets out while the appeal is in process, then gets a new trial. Perhaps at that stage, he pleads to a much lesser charge and gets credited for the time served?
Let’s see what happens in a couple of hours when the sun goes down.

Supreme Court is as compromised any area run by the demo-commies. I’ve never felt ACB was a good choice because of her ties with Bush, plus in today’s environment, given that she has young children, the mob can dox or threaten her children to get the ruling they want. Equal justice with the mob’s consent. Would bet it influenced today’s verdict. Don’t forget Wayne County Michigan. When canvassers were certifying the 2020 elections a Republican said he wouldn’t due to the irregularities. The commies threatened him, his family and children and he caved.
If there ever IMO is to be equal justice for all in America again, almost the entire demo-commies and China owned Americans nationally and locally need to be arrested and either given long sentences or shot for treason and/or sedition, yes like Pinochet did. Until they are made to pay for their crimes they will continue to be criminals with impunity.
