The Walt Disney Company and Lucasfilm confirmed the long-gestating fifth Indiana Jones film will be a woke mess as they revealed Phoebe Waller-Bridge joined the cast.
A press release from Lucasfilm made the announcement.

On the surface, from a business standpoint, I can understand a production company's desire to make money. So if the fan base will respond, why not make a sequel, then a third, fourth, etc. until the fans stop coming and it is no-longer economically viable to make any more. How many Rambos were there? Fast 'n Furious? Terminator? Marvel whatevers? From a business standpoint, they are going to push these cash cows until they no longer produce milk. It is sad for people who are fans of the books or early movies. They become engaged with the characters, plot lines, settings, etc. But in general the big studios are not story tellers. They're in it for the money. If their story lines degenerate into silliness, so be it. As long as there are a few hundred million to be made along the way. They don't care if they ultimately alienate the fan base of that series.
Indiana Jonesing for a real movie.
Its a zombie franchise at this point. I didn’t watch “Fleabag” but a Brit actress doesn’t automatically equate to woke hell. Woke hell is humorless angry horrors pooping all over the audience with Hollywood going full on S&M on an audience that just wants a nice and conventional 90 minutes of escapeism.
Frankly, I’ve given up on Hollywood even as it seems to be scrambling to expand with “entertainment news” being constantly sprung on any unwary person who turns on the tv. In order to be a “celebrity” you should do something worth celebrating.
It is kinda sickening, but the Chicoms are producing better movies than Hollyweird.
Yeah, they use the heck outta CGI, but the stories are interesting, the action is good, and the wokeness nonexistent- Chinese are proud of being Chinese.
Will she become the first woman to ride in a nuclear launched refrigerator?
After reading the comments, it doesn’t appear that most here are going to spend their hard earned money on this new movie. How is Disney and Lucas going to continue their JIHAD on America and the American Way of Life if we peasants don’t give them our money??
Just remember, whenever you spend your money on the Entertainment Industry, a portion will be used to DESTROY YOUR WAY OF LIFE!!
“Indiana Jones and the Golden Wheelchair”
Disney/Lucas films must have a lot of money they are willing to waste on a box office bomb. . . . .
What year is this one to be set in? Sometime after the 1950s?
Maybe he’ll try to solve the JFK assassination, Indiana Jones And The Magic Bullet
Indiana Jones and the Peaceful Protest...
It’s not hard. Just if there’s a remake or sequel, I usually could care less. Indiana Jones 4 wasn’t good, but the ending of the film made it pretty clear that the story was done, not much else to do except either a prequel or something similar to Indiana Jones but not the name. And to think that Indiana Jones happened because Spielberg got turned down on making a James Bond movie...
The fourth one was clearly the end of the story, more of an epilogue. All of them are cheesy to some extent, but there was nowhere left to go plotwise after number 4. I do like movies, but there comes a point where I am satisfied enough with the ending that I have no interest in anything else.

LOL
Remember when Hollywierd actresses used to be beautiful?
Or go full “Superman”....Indiana Jones - The Quest for Peace
Its really evidence that they are so uncreative, and their new or original product so unpopular, that all they can do is recycle old stories.
Jone’s outs himself?
Nuke the fridge
