They apparently were hoping to push against magnetism or magnetic lines of force.................

Serious devices are not made with all thread.

Ok, they have had their fun, they tried and it didn’t work. Quit wasting time and money.

They really screwed this up. All they needed was a flux capacitor and start up surge of 1.21 Gigawatts.

True there is nothing to push against in space. But “pushing against air’ is how JET engines work. Rocket engines in space work by using the equal and opposite reaction to the expelling of matter (mass from the rocket exhaust) from the rocket engine. Just like if you were in space, and had a sack of rocks. By throwiing them down past your feet, one after another, you would propel your body up, faster with each rock thrown.

They were attempting to use energy movement within, but that’s like a balloon containing gases. The balloon has forces acting within it, but the balloon does not move because none of those gases are propelling the balloon.

I remember when the Obamaroids first took over, that they were in a meeting with some energy industry CEOs and some of the stuff the Obamaroids wanted were impossible. One CEO remarked, “That is against the Laws of Physics!”

The Obamaroids replied, “Who wrote those laws? We’ll get them repealed!”.................

As long as there are legit studies like this to point the curioso towards, the story will luze steam.

Lol. It’s just astounding sometimes how advanced scientific thinking was 500 years or so ago...Newton, Laplace, Euler, Galileo, Kepler, Copernicus. Not only did they risk their necks (literally) to confront dogma but they conceptualized both the principle and derived mathematical underpinnings without any of the tools we takes for granded today.

One has to wonder if aliens didn’t come and inject the human race with some super-DNA, almost all of which has since been bred-out and we’re left with the kind of “science” that is shoved down our throats today by people who can barely spell the word.

Euler did not risk his neck. By limiting himself to mathematics and physics . He stayed out of politics DELIBERATELY. He liked his head and wanted to keep it above his shoulders.
