I’ll be going maskless to the early service tomorrow. This is a former church of mine that I attended several years ago until I saw the writing on the walls on how “seeker sensitive” they’ve been.
They require masks until you are seated. How far should I push this?

We should call out the mascism EVERYWHERE it’s found, and let our voices be heard while obeying those which insist on them. I won’t be entering the church with a mask, so I likely won’t be entering that church, their right. I just want to know where they will draw the line. This church bills themselves as “a church without walls.” Let’s see how many walls they really have.

Your post is egotistical, has very little to do with the Sacrifice we are commemorating or of the humility that Jesus probably expects of us at this time.

Pretty simple solution.
As I said before masks aren’t a thing where I live. If folks want to wear them it has zero effect on me.
So I’m guessing that wherever you are at that things may be different.
CHristians are to reprove the works of darkness. I know it doesn’t comport with today’s “nicer-than-Jesus CHristianity,” but real Christianity is often confrontational. That’s not evil, especially when it’s done inconspicuously and without anyone noticing except the usher/greeter who questions me. I won’t be making a scene at all. And I’ll leave the premises promptly if they insist I wear a mask.

What point are you trying to make? I will not insist in any way that a single person in the congregation remove their face burqa. How does that relate in any way to what I want to do?

It sounds like you are upset with the direction of the church and also the mask issue.
Yes, because you aren't going to worship, you are going for other reasons.
Don't like their theology? I probably wouldn't, either. But it isn't like there aren't plenty of options available.
Social justice is incompatible with the gospel.
It’s Easter... choosing this day to get revenge or ‘show them up’ is wrong.
No need to aggravate them. It is a side issue which may go away soon. More important to spur them to worship God according the scriptures....cause their eternal souls are at stake...
And what significant thing are you reproving here? Is it your position that wearing a mask is incompatible with Christianity? Or is it possible that you are letting your other, more significant disagreements with your former church influence your action here? You may think it’s dumb to wear a mask, but is that really the issue? And will your confrontation actually do anything to encourage the people to follow a more biblical path or will it just serve to annoy people on Easter?
