A Long Island woman tested positive for COVID-19 Tuesday — more than a month after receiving her second dose of the Moderna vaccine meant to protect against the virus, a report said.
Melanie Rosen, who works as a secretary in the Hewlett-Woodmere school district, told PIX-11 she thought that getting the jab meant it was safe to resume normal activities without wearing a mask.
She started experiencing symptoms shortly after attending a wake — unmasked — for a friend’s father who had passed away.

The real test is to see what percentage of those who've been fully vaccinated wind up in the hospital...or on a ventilator...or dead.

The vaccine is reported to be 90% effective, so I hope the fake news media is prepared to write about 20-30 million of these stories.
Yeah, it really is. We effectively eradicated the threat of smallpox with a vaccine that is slightly less effective than the three US-approved COVID vaccines are.
90-95% is not 100%. A few fall through the cracks and this woman is the “lucky” winner of that statistical anomaly.

That vaccine was fully studied and approved by the FDA.

It isn’t a “vaccine” in the true sense of the word. Studied in Israel and other places show that the shot does help to reduce the symptoms a lot.
Other things also have been shown to reduce the symptoms.

This isn’t a vaccine, it’s similar to the flu shot, which isn’t termed a vaccine.
Yeah, I know. Moderna is one of the three approved vaccines. I didn’t say that it wasn’t.
(there may be four approved now. I’m not sure what the status of the AstraZeneca vaccine is).
The only thing it does better than HCQ or Ivermectin is make Big Pharma richer.
The COVID-19 vaccines like the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines are not approved by the FDA.
3-5-years. Every subsequent small pox vaccine provides even longer protection.
But, even with the efficacy window of 3-5-yaers, the small pox vaccination rollout was so overwhelming, that the disease was, as I said, effectively eradicated in the late 1970s/early 1980s.
I’m not sure if any vaccine is effective in perpetuity. Many are not. We have a tetanus vaccine. That vaccine has to be re-administered every 10-years. That’s just the nature of our immune systems

It is NOW, according to the recently re-written (like, in the last 30 days) definition of “vaccine” in the available medical dictionaries.
Right. Instead, largely thanks to Trump, it was given an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA). If the COVID vaccines were to have endured the more typical vaccination approval process, it likely wouldn’t have been approved for years.
But despite my lack of medical credentials I learned a lot...enough to comment on certain medical issues.
