Today’s Cryptogram

Posted on 03/30/2021 8:10:25 AM PDT by nikos1121

PA PB JMAAMO AUGA AMZ QYPRAK DMOBLZB MBNGDM AUGZ AUGA LZM PZZLNMZA BYVVMOB. —EPRRPGX JRGNTBALZM

TOPICS: Chit/Chat
KEYWORDS: todayscryptogram
You can find this fun quotation puzzle, to combat early dementia and senility in us baby boomers, in several daily publications. I challenge us with the best ones out there.

The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).

Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated, you’ll be solving them all within a few days.  If you’re stumped, take a break and return to it.

PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and how you made out.

You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for today’s Cryptogram ASK THE GROUP FOR HELP!

I suggest printing these out and work them on paper. If you need a little help you can copy and paste it to Hal’s Helper below.

You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper, but I recommend that you do NOT look at the letter counter.

One last request. Feel free to post a fun or clever clue, the more tangential to the quotation the better, but please don’t put the actual words of the quote in the clue.

AUGA strikes again and it was almost as fast as I could pick the letters.

Less than one minute!

The two Ps in the first two words were a big clue. I guessed at the second letter for one of those words, which made the second word inevitable ... and then used that "P" letter to make educated guesses about a couple of other words until a clear pattern emerged.

Thank goodness for the daily Cryptogram!

I've been through two pots of coffee reading FR threads and shaking my head at all the un-figure-out-able (for lack of a better word) (or actual word for that matter) chaos inflicting the world and chomping at the bit for a jumbled mess to make heads or tails of.

Before you disagree, what if you or a loved one were AUGA LZM PZZLNMZA?

Thank you.

I was so despondent after the election, with all the fraud and dishonesty, that I was going to DC the Daily CG. Many people begged me to not stop it.

We’ve had many old friends drop out completely, but some new ones too.

I am glad it makes your morning.
