QUEENS, NY—In a courageous new episode of Sesame Street, the puppets teach kids about social justice by introducing a new character, Todd-- a white male puppet who is blamed for everything wrong in the world.
Minutes into the episode, Todd is introducing himself to the other puppets and a prescriptively diverse cast of guest children, when he is confronted by Grover about Todd's culpability regarding a distant ancestor who fought for the Confederacy.

Todd works hard and is not happy that his take home pay is not very much. He got mugged the other day by someone playing the knockout “game”. On his job, he had to attend a seminar on White privilege. The next day it was toxic masculinity. Then he was asked for his pronouns.
He wasn’t happy to find out that his city is giving a monthly payment to (only) blacks. He woke up one day to find his car stolen. He lost two days of work, without pay.
Todd wonders what happened to a once-great country.
