Is the next step that they try to override her veto?
I thought she was going to present her own version of this bill. I didn’t read that she did so.
With those numbers why can't they override her veto?
Very disappointed in her sell out to the homosexual agenda, she lost my support for any Presidential run.
To post an email to her:

Can’t they over-ride her vetoes ?
In before her harpy apologists try to explain why Noam can’t get this done (I’ll get sued by basketball players!) while many other governors are doing it as we speak.
Try to imagine what it would be like to be in a room with the Governor and the idiot adviser who convinced her to veto that bill. It doesn’t take much to scuttle a political career if you claim to be a conservative.
What is her reason? Is it legislative procedural where she thinks the bill as written will be declared unconstitutional? Her veto seems so out of character to her
Sorry ladies — get used to wrestling that 200 lb, 6 foot tall “girl” with shoulders wider than a Buick!
It is all fair, ya know.
Frankly this is all popcorn city for me! Ever since Title IX was used to kill men’s programs that did not generate evenue I have been waiting for retribution.
Soon the only born females in sports will be in diving. If that, given that guy that won the beauty contest the other day.
I have been told men can do all the women’s gymnastics equipment and much, much better.
The only sport you will not be able to tell the difference is “women’s” basketball as they all look like guys already.
Only a few days ago she was the Next Big Deal. Now she is undone, and it self inflicted.
If SD were the only state in the country who enacted a bill like this, Noem might have a case the NCAA would file a lawsuit against SD and punish college teams by suspending them from post season play.....
Now that it appears quite a few states are going to enact the same type of legislation, she really doesn’t have a leg stand on...
SD is a small state, if their team were suspended from post season play no one outside of SD would care, but if FL, GA, SC, TX, etc...all pass similar legislation, the NCAA would back off, there is strength in numbers but Noem decided to sit this one out...
Isn’t it good news that this fraud took herself out of the Republican limelight this early? I realize Noem has some delusional groupies, but it’s over for her.
who knew that the FRC was into useless gestures?
Dang. The Nazi Pelosi queen virus is spreading.
Reap what you sow
I thought she was really something. Looking at this, the way she abandoned girls in sporting events, leaving them to be beaten by men dressed as girls, leads me to think she was absolutely a moron! I hope the state remembers this next election.
You think that would be happy about this and cheering her as a hero.
No they’re just using it to smear her with conservatives.
She didn’t sign onto the bill because it was technically written very poorly and would have been overturned by the courts.
The left would have said “aha the opposite must be constitutional”. That’s how they got gay marriage.
I call it “repeal to a third position”, and that’s how liberals get laws by judicial fiat that would not have been supported by voters.
This country is on borrowed time.
Any true Christian can see the writing on the wall.
Welcone to the Nikki Haley Losers' club. This week's topic: "I coulda been a contender …"
Note in the above comments that the conservative objections to her is based on what she just vetoed (a bill to protect women’s sports), while the people supporting her feel the need to attack their opposition on a personal level. Similar to when she called the bill’s supporters ‘a conservative cancel-culture’. No thanks, one McCain per lifetime is enough for me.
Bottom line is that many of us now better understand her. For some here, her avoiding lawsuits means the state can get by with a few less lawyers on staff...for others, we understand that ANY law which is effective, and which our side likes will have to be fought out in court - with the Georgia voting reform law being latest...but even there, the RINO still signed it. This one ran.
I’m still pondering why the possibility of a few corporate boycotts would concern her enough to make a Faustian Deal?
Is South Dakota in deep trouble financially?
The pandemic closed a heap of businesses all over, and on top of that Uncle Joe has stopped work on the Keystone Pipeline. Could THIS have been the proverbial straw that broke the conservative Camel’s back? If so, I wish Gov. Kristi would just say so. She can be very articulate. That would add a smidgen of logic to what she’s now doing, not that I approve of the tactic.
