In the end we always take the land

If a form has “Native American” as a choice, I always check that. Not a drop of Indian blood in me, but I was born in America.
Don’t call they “Hispanic” because they aren’t.
Not when COVID restrictions on evictions are in place. They get to keep the castle and you have to make sure the water and power stay on. Glorious reset of values.
The native American tribes got rid of their rival native American tribes, and kept the land, too.
I think there may be a little confusion. The oldest known anthropological evidence of homo sapiens dates back an estimated 300K. That evidence is found in Africa.
While the prevailing theory for man existing in the Americas is closer to 30K years go. There is some evidence to suggest it might be longer, 50K to 60K years.
It’s also not clear if any ancestors of those early humans migrants exist today.
I haven’t seen anything to suggest man existed in the Americas 300K years ago. If you’re familiar with that research, I’d love to read it. Anthropology has fascinated me since childhood.
If they wanted to keep the land they should have been better at war.
As it stands, they lost.
Not this crap again!
Pretty much. So it is in much of Latin America.
You mean like, “Mom, I am just buying Playboy because of the articles.”
And before we got here they just brutally savaged each other.
The myth they all got along and were not warring bodies, is totally just that.
In 1626 the Lenape Indians sold the island of Manhattan for 60 guilders to the Dutch West India Company, receipt and all.
Everyone “came from someplace else” it’s only idiot progressives who have an issue with that.
Quite possibly the first instance of natives taking advantage of tourists. At least in the New World.
They did discover the wheel but it was used for children’s toys since they did not have horses and oxen.
Last night Tucker Carlson was in San Salvador and interviewed the President of El Salvador. The man looked like he could have just stepped off a plane from Spain. Very European in appearance.
Well, they didn’t take it too far. They didn’t try to sell the Dutch the Brooklyn Bridge.
BINGO!!!!
Upn’ here the Abenakis stole land from the Mohicans. Then the Dutch came and the Mohawks drove out the Abenakis. Then the French came n took it and gave it to the Montagnais & Hurons n’ Ottawas.and nobody objected. Then the English came n gave it back to the Mohawks. It’s called musical land grabbing. Now the Mohawks have about couple hundred acres finally back at last after the Americans took it.
Stereotypical irony. Love it.
