A French actress stripped completely nude on stage during a live broadcast of the “French Oscars” to protest Covid-19 lockdowns, particularly of cinemas.
Corinne Masiero protested naked at the César Awards on Friday. The stunt was bewildering to some but many applauded loudly at the messaging, translated from French to read, “Give us back art, Jean” on her back and “No culture, no future” on her torso. According to Sky News:
Masiero appeared at the Cesar Awards – the French equivalent of the Oscars – to announce the winner of the best costume design category. She first appeared dressed in a bloodied donkey costume, a reference to a French fairytale, before stripping naked.
Her body bore the words “no culture, no future”. Ms Masiero also had the words “rend nous l’art Jean” written on her back. This translates to “give us back art, Jean”, a message directed at Prime Minister Jean Castex.
Actors, musicians and artists are angry that the French government is unwilling to set a date for the reopening of museums, galleries, concert halls and cinemas. Marina Fois, a comedian, was hosting the awards ceremony.
While the vast majority of American actors in Hollywood have expressed support for lockdowns and face masks even as they declare frustration, entertainers in other nations have been more vocal about opening up their countries. Meanwhile, there is a very sharp divide among American citizens regarding lockdowns and other Covid-19 protocols with the political left generally favoring them and the political right seeking more freedoms or the complete elimination of lockdowns.
“Testosterone has plummeted”
Well, at least those boys will have a full head of hair.
‘Well we know she doesn’t shave. ‘
Nature girl. At least we’ll know her true hair color-unless she bleaches downstairs.
Gravity always wins (so saith Radiohead).
LOL, I had the Cheryl Tiegs poster myself.
At long as the drapes match the carpet............
It plummeted after her disrobing.
The first thing they think of , take off their cloths , LOL
I have seen her in a French detective series called Captain Marleau, and she was an entertaining and funny actress.
That being said, put the donkey suit back on, Corinne.
That’ll show ‘em!
It appears she received more points for the mulehead than the state of undress.
Rosie O’Donnell has offered to do the same at the US Oscars, who called it in to the police as a terrorist threat.
Yes, I would have enjoyed this protest more if she had been double-masked but, otherwise, wearing nothing.
The French celebrate and protest everything by stripping naked. Meh.
Well she is no Beatrice Dalle...
For some reason, European feminists think that stripping proves their point...but whether it does or not, I’m on her side.
The French are even worse than we are...but not as bad as the Brits...on shutting down and crushing all human life with their lockdowns.
When I was thirteen, I submitted some drawing and was accepted in an adult art course at the Corcoran in Washington, DC. When the gallery director introduced the pretty nude female model, he said, “Doesn’t she have pretty legs!” and the girl blushed red from the neck up. At thirteen, for the first few classes I was quite turned-on, but soon became blasé about the nudity and would skip class if there was a movie I wanted to see. Familiarity breeds contempt.
At least we’ll know her true hair color-unless she bleaches downstairs.

Teenage guys in the ‘50s, seeing a chick with newly dyed hair, used to quip: “Wonder if she bought a double batch and has a snatch to match?” Today that would probably get them arrested!
I might add, even now in my advanced years without sexual arousal, I find that the un-skeletonized post-pubertal female body in various sizes and shapes one of the most beautiful of God’s creations. It satisfies all of Hogarth’s “line of beauty.”

Incredible! I too attended art classes at the Corcoran when I was thirteen. But it was a course teaching the finer points of charcoal drawing, and no nudes were anywhere in sight!
