Joe Rogan has done some excellent interviews with Edward Snowden on some of the surveillance that is currently underway. These interviews are still on youtube at this time. They are easy to find using the search feature.
I wonder if this guy poured kerosene on his pants and then put a lit match to them before writing this article.
If you watch the Edward Snowden interviews on youtube you won’t think it is far fetched.

But there are probably many Americans who are way ahead of this curve - we (Americans) are, after all, alpha innovators.
We didn't crawl from a backwater colony to the uber-inventors and producers we are today by being idiots.
Companies that have publicly traded stocks are now being given ESG scores (Environmental, Social and Governance). The largest mutual fund company, BlackRock, is a big force behind this and uses the score in making decision on which stocks it's mutual funds hold. They can force "politically correct" actions without any laws being passed. Google has helped China with it's "Social Credit Scoring" system for Chinese citizens. I would not be surprised if Google is already collecting this data on US citizens and just waiting for the proper administration to be in place to implement it.

I sat out the Georgia Senate runoff (to teach the GOP a lesson, by letting the Democrats win without having to cheat) so we could have this outcome. So no issues for me.
It’s better to consider all the threats before they arrive.

...but how do states get credit card companies, banks, utilities, and others to listen to them, rather than the feds? I doubt the states have given that any thought.

Its not gonna take many of these anti gun actions to shake out and shine
a spotlight on the no spine wimps who knuckle under without so much as
a whimper. Theres gonna be a ton of them here on FR alone..........
