It’s the exact same way they “won” on Nov 3. They didn’t get over the line by 11 pm so they got to work on the required incremental votes.

By 1984 there was already the ability to spy on everything. The Internet just made it real easy to do it.

they still use and collect the wifi data you provide them at every large road intersection using the stingray data boxes. your phone wifi/bluetooth turned on when you stop at the light all data is downloaded and collected by the local DHS office.

Not to mention, “Firearms Collection Center” sounds a lot like a great place to go shopping for more firearms.

Travis McGee :" Her terrible bill won’t pass at 100%. It will return at 50% and the GOPe Rinos will rush to vote for it.
And in a few years, they’ll get all 100%, a few % each time."

Incremental socialism; AKA the frog in the warm pot.
The camels nose is already under the tent, and inching forward.

“By 1984 there was already the ability to spy on everything. The Internet just made it real easy to do it.”

True.
The internet was the installation of the final piece needed to spy on anyone at anytime and have real time intelligence.

Side note...
When I was driving long haul I picked up a partial load of used analog telephone equipment. All of it was delivered to the McLean office of Bell Atlantic.
It seems certain government agencies weren’t on board with going digital and had no plans to in the future. I do know that one floor of the McLean office was dedicated to intelligence and law enforcement arms of the alphabet variety.

McLean is the DC area intelligence center. Most of the intel contractors and agencies work out of there. My offices are there too.

This is scary, but it’s not the whole picture. It eliminates other aspects.

Things like secession, the current state pushes to completely eliminate permit carry, underground movements and exactly how easy it is to be a “digital terrorist”. Under any counter- measure there will always be people who bypass security.

Trump doesn’t have a GAB account. Kushner won’t let him.

yes but there will be a ton of blood in the streets long before any such info-tyranny could possibly be effectively deployed against the American people.

May I politely suggest the 2020 presidential election was a form of info-tyranny? You are indeed correct, of course, about the ton of blood.

Woe is Me. ALL is lost!

Buahahahahahahaha!

TheN the AI mavins of tyrannical proportions must already know, in their prescience, that in fact there have been millions of boatng accidents all across America in which firearms just disappeared beneath the pristine waters of our nations drainage.

Good luck with that.

Francis Marion taught us well.

As to ammo, Mexico is already on the way to becomeing a huge black Market supplier, encouraged by the lefty Dems to have the cartels and coyotes to run ordinance across our borfer into the various barrios across the country.

If you want ammo, Pablo and Pablito will be more than accommodating as one of America’s newly minted entrepreneurs, who will be voting Republican.

There are millions to be made via encrypted internet black markets!

No they get forced into illegal transactions like prohibition. Prohibition was a complete and total disaster, what would gun prohibition be like?

... two kids in college, two in high school...

Phrased differently, that could mean four good reasons not to want the country to descend further into tyranny. Isn’t that what this boils down to? A choice about the country that kids and grandkids grow up in.
