One reason I think that Coronavirus cases are going down is that fewer people might be getting tested after they are vaccinated. Currently, hypochondriacs get a Coronavirus test every time they get a sniffle. But once these people get vaccinated then they might instead assume that they have a common cold.

Natural herd immunity, delayed purposefully with the lockdowns, is happening just as the vaccines hit.
The pandemic is over.
The weird thing is that even people who’ve had the vaccine - both shots of the Pfizer - aren’t willing to go back to being normal. Someone I know was desperate for the vaccine, got both of the shots (I live in Florida, where it’s been pretty efficient) ... and showed up at an outdoor event a couple of days ago with an even bigger face mask than she was wearing before!
She caught my surprised look (I never wear a mask at all) and said, “now Dr Fauci is saying we’ll need three doses to be safe...”
That little weasel should be taken out and flogged and then be sent to a remote island with no internet or other connections. He has spent a year spreading panic, moving the goal posts, and destroying lives left, right and center.

People may appear to be on the side of some of the governors, because if they don’t, they’ll suffer consequences. When the govs are up for re-election, that will tell the truth.

Ther was a plandemic, a casedemic, a scamdemic, a Gatesdemic.
President Trump heroically dropped hints about therapeutics and that a vaccine might not even be necessary throughout the summer of 2020. And he has not gotten the vaxx. And neither has his family.

My aunt has friends like this, except they’ve gone maskless when they get together with each other.
She told them what Fauci is saying about the three doses, and they are fine with that.
They think she is crazy for not getting the vax. She is afraid they will stop hanging out with her. She’s thinking about getting new friends.
Now, mind you, these same people voted for Trump and think he was cheated.
I don’t get how they see one thing and don’t see how they are being played on the other.
I dunno. This whole thing is nuts...I live in Florida, where none of this stuff is required state-wide, but individual cities and counties have their own indoor restrictions, although enforcement usually depends on the business in question. We had only a relatively brief restriction on indoor dining, and now many restaurants in my town(s), Jacksonville and St. Augustine, have gone back to 100% occupancy, and all of our businesses are open. The only group not working is public school teachers, who, despite the fact that our Catholic, other religious and most private schools are open and the teachers are not dropping dead at their desks, refuse to return to work (because, according to their union, “DeSantis is sending them to their deaths”).
The big problem is the young people. They not only wear masks outdoors, now they’re wearing two masks, sometimes with a plastic face shield. And even though virtually all of the over 65 population has been vaccinated, most of them twice, that apparently is not enough to calm the Millenials down and they keep telling Granny that she’s going to die if they breathe in her presence. Therefore she has to be locked up. Most of the nuttiest pro-mask, pro-lockdown population is composed of people 40 and younger, probably the vast majority with one or two college degrees.
They really drank the Kool Aid, but of course these people have been brought up on leftist TV and big tech hysteria. But how are we going to deprogram them? Even when their own teenage children are committing suicide out of fear and despair and isolation, they perkily keep defending this insanity.
I think it may really have gotten to the point where grandparents have to tell their grandchildren they have come to realize the cold, hard, ugly truth, which is their grandchildren really don’t care about them and are loving the excuse not to see them. So now grandma and grandpa are moving on and will only pay attention to and include in the will, those grandchildren (if they are lucky enough to have any) who do care, great nieces and nephews who do care, similar age children of their friends, or the teenager in the house five houses down who has stopped and talked to them like a normal person.
