Explanation: Stitched together on planet Earth, 142 separate images make up this 360 degree panorama from the floor of Jezero Crater on Mars. The high-resolution color images were taken by the Perseverance rover's zoomable Mastcam-Z during mission sol 3, also known as February 21, 2021. In the foreground of Mastcam-Z's view is the car-sized rover's deck. Broad light-colored patches in the martian soil just beyond it were scoured by descent stage rocket engines during the rover's dramatic arrival on February 18. The rim of 45 kilometer-wide Jezero Crater rises in the distance. In the coming sols, Perseverance will explore the ancient lake-delta system in the crater, hunting for signs of past microscopic life and collecting samples for potential future return to planet Earth.

First transmission from Perseverance back to Earth:
“HELP! I’ve fallen (into a crater) and I can’t get up!”
I seem to remember the other little rover we sent had NO problems climbing out of the crater it landed in by accident. :)
A few more years and Mars will have a used car lot.
A wonderful Day in the neighborhood.
And why I want to go to the USVI instead of Mars.
The terrain looks nearly identical except for the colored lens filter. It could be argued that there's roughly the same amount of cultural artifacts on Mars as there is in Greenland.
The irony is that “life on Mars” *is* Ingenuity, the lil’ hovercraft.
“Life on Mars” is all about making it happen.
I mean just look at the nicknames — Percy and Ginny.
Alone together in the wilderness.
Life finds a way.
It’s not rocket science.
And if I put my special 3-D glasses on and blink three times, maybe I can make sense of it.
I just want to see the individual images, not a "panorama." Where are they?
WOW.... It’s a Rock
Remarkable....
There’s another Rock...
Amazing...
Billions of dollars in Rocks...
Unbelievable 🤔
#2 It looks like a giant Martian stepped on the rover.
Looks incredibly lonely.
Let them discover gold on Mars and see what happens.
Yep.
That is kinda my thoughts too.... I think it is amazing we could accomplish the feat of getting the thing there and sending back pictures.... but yeah.... a bunch of rocks and dirt.
Plot summary
About 1,000,000 B.C., an unidentified alien race sent out robotic factories to many worlds in their part of the galaxy to prepare for future settlement.

A long time ago
A million years BC
The best things in life
Were absolutely free
But no one appreciated
A sky that was always blue
And no one congratulated
A moon that was always new
So it was planned that they would vanish now and them
And you must pay before you get them back again
That's what storms were made for
And you shouldn't be afraid for...
