I remember when this scandal occurred.
For those not old enough to remember this, this story made the comedy show rounds for a few years.
For those in Rio Linda, “exotic dancer” == “STRIPPER”.
‘round these parts, they’re still talking about Roscoe ‘fatty’ Arbuckle
She was pretty. Rest In Peace .
And There you have it.
Yet another member [heh, heh] of the Party Party.
In 1975.
I always thought Elizabeth Ray was the hotter one.
Given the track record of Arkansas dems, it’s surprising the scandal was able to break without her being, “silenced.”
The Argentine Firecracker, RIP. May she romp in Heaven’s fountains with Wilbur forever.
She was totally Not Guilty.
H->! came later....
I got Fanne Fox and Wilbur Mills...but I ain’t got you.
Was Elizabeth Ray the secretary who couldn’t type?
By todays standards, Mills would have the media on his side or probably would not have reported it at all. Any mention of this scandal would be blocked by Facebook, Twitter, YouTube would ban videos, etc.
Wow. This was a scandal at the time.

Now we have congress critters sleeping with Chinese spies. Congress critters in a three way, congress creeps molesting women, boys and girls, and worse.
What Wilbur Mills did then would not be any big deal today.
I found the 70’s to be good times rock and roll.
I’d go back if I could take Electronic Engine Control and the Internet of ~8 years ago with me. [Calif. was totally awesome then]
King Ludwig had Lola to dance her spider dance.
And Wilbur Mills had the firecracker.
And Joe........Hunter does stuff like that.
Sounds like she had an interesting (and somewhat productive) post-scandal career.
Bye Fanne Fox- I used to just laugh at her name.
