Gov DeSantis has remained steadfast in the face of relentless smears and challenges.
President Reagan famously touted America as a “shining city upon a hill whose beacon light guides freedom-loving people everywhere.” However, today in 2021, that beacon light has dimmed significantly, and most of America has become entirely consumed by COVID Mania, while the masses have surrendered their liberties due to a virus with a recovery rate of 99.8+%.
Although most Americans and their elected leaders have failed to uphold our sacred principles, there are still pockets of brave, freedom-loving Americans who seek to continue abiding by our founding ideals and their emphasis on the protection of individual rights.
Florida is the largest of the handful of currently-functioning “free states” that has lived up to the American principle as a beacon of liberty, in a nation that has surrendered to tyranny, corruption, & idiocracy. Floridians, along with Americans in only a few other states, live so much more freely than people in New York, California, and the dozens of other lockdown states, that we may as well be living in two different nations. Never in my life would I have imagined that so many Americans would surrender their precious freedoms in the name of a flu-like respiratory virus, but here we are.
Martin Luther King Jr famously reminded us that "the ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy."

The tyrants that have placed their citizens under house arrest are going to cling to their new found power.
DeSantis is a serious governor. Hope he seeks higher office someday.
He's #1 on the Left. They'll try to take him out in 2022.
Notice how many people and how so much positive activity and focus is soon Florida these days? There’s a reason for it. Great to see to many people out and about in the sunshine after the Super Bowl. Really impressed with the governor.

Yup that appears to be the end game
Soft tyranny with incidents of hard tyranny
Many GOP governors could learn a lot from Governor DeSantis!
Some kudos belong to Gov. Noem of South Dakota, as well.
My wife and I moved our family from the state that was our home state, California, to Florida more than 10 years ago. When we told our family and friends of our decision they all told us we were overreacting. Now, they ask us, “how did you know?” We tell each of them, it’s because we were paying attention.
Yet, still to this day, knowing what they know now are any of them willing to take the initiative to quit their jobs, sell their homes, and relocate to a free state. It’s fear of the uncertain that causes so many people to just stagnate. To hope and pray that the lion approaching them with hunger in its eyes will not choose to devour them but, will chose to devour another instead.
God bless you for being awake.
Please Floridians......concentrate on your curriculum. Get it right. Be the beacon of light.
I will gladly trade my Gov Greg Grabbott for Gov Rick DeSantis.
DeSantis of Florida has solidly taken the lead from Abbott of Texas.
“while the masses have surrendered their liberties due to a virus with a recovery rate of 99.8+%”
My sister and I have split ways as she is totally behind Gov Whitless Michigan lockdown to protect us. She cannot understand what liberty means as she has never sacrificed for it.
Any talk of getting rid of him in the primary and running a conservative?
How long do you think your ‘free state’ will remain free?
The problems we’re facing require more than just ‘moving around’.
We need education of the people as to what is being done to them, and activism.
(There’s an election in 2022.)

Dont forget Kristi Noem from SD. She’s the ONLY governor in America who refused to LOCKDOWN her state since the very beginning which pissed off the left. Regarding 6 foot distance “SD is mostly rural, why would I tell SDers to social distance?”
