Somethings been puzzling me about our side since the November election. I've noticed an inordinate percentage of people on the right being nihilistic & petulant. I have always assumed we are simply smarter than they are. I think that this election opened my eyes not just to the level of corruption of the Democrats, but more so the lack of sincerity of many on my own side.
What I've witnessed is a collapse of shared will. You may blame others failures or betrayals for bringing you down that long, sad road. In reality, it's just you! Every time you boycott an election or knowingly vote for assinine third parties that don't have the support to win, you cede this country further to those you claim to fear the most.
I finally realized that maybe the reason that many people loved President Trump was because he was strong. He was your knight on a white horse. You thought he could do all the fighting for you. I don't guess you completely learned until election night that he can't fight it all on his own. He needed more than just your words.
You don't abandon the people who are counting on you. President Trump never did. We need to start banding together because there are extremely important battles taking place right now- election security, immigration, speech, religion, shut downs. For God sakes, Democrats & the media are trying to ban us. Wake up! Mitch McConnell isn't our biggest problem right now!!
There are no easy fights or knights on white horses. We have to save ourselves & each other. We have got to unite to defeat our enemies. They are attempting to divide us & too many of the weak minded are unknowingly falling for it 😉
We did our part, the RINO’s sold us out! Time to fight and get rid of them! The young lady is right.

In the end, I think many at FR that have been following politics for a decent amount of time have come to the (correct) conclusion that the GOP is worthless, and that Trump and MAGA will never truly be accepted by the GOPe.
Starting a third party assures the split will enable the Demonrats to win by a plurality in countless races for perpetuity. That’s why President Trump opposes doing so. We’ve got to purge the GOP and keep doing so until we are rid of the treasonous, the cowardly and the various and sundry toadies.
Excuse me, but in case you haven’t noticed, I have been posting reasoned arguments to those people for a while. They have uniformally thrown insults at me & people like me. The general argument amongst most has been that anyone who doesn’t abandon ship is a fool & establishment stooge. You obviously know that’s not true. I would not be writing this unless I was worried about that trajectory & wanting to see things change. I’ve had it with the constantly repeated arguments that voting is futile & we are doomed to lose. If you think that that is a an argument that should be coddled & sympathized with, be my guest! I’m sick of it. I’m not fond of snowflakes of any stripe who need to be patted on the head & agreed with. Man up! They can not win with that attitude. They will lose in any party with any candidate with that outlook. Things are getting dangerous. I’m sorry if I don’t have the time to hand hold & walk grown adults through reality. Here’s reality: we either band together & become a unified force with the wind at our backs or we become the negativists self fulfilling prophesy & lose everything. We aren’t talking about losing our tax cuts anymore. They’re one vote away from confiscating guns, doing away with free speech & dissent, abolishing religious, opening the borders to 100 times more immigrants & illegals & basically voiding the constitution. I’ve never lived through anything like what I’m seeing now. WE DONT HAVE TIME TO DEBATE FEELINGS! Grow the f**k up 😡🤦🏼

Yeah, we've heard that one before, ad nauseum. They're winning anyway, and now they can steal elections with impunity. The GOP is worthless because they will do nothing to prevent this criminal BS. They showed their true colors the past four years.
We don’t elect them, the legislators do. It’s a game of ‘whack a mole’, and there are so many uniparty members, that we can’t seem to get rid of all of them. Of course, it doesn’t help that liberals from all over the country keep moving here for jobs and bring their insanity with them.

You're right - the best approach to what's coming is to prepare for the coming persecutions, and protect your family and assets while laying low. Anyone trying to be a gung-ho hero instead will get squashed like a bug - there will be no organized resistance to back you up if you go "Rambo" on any of these totalitarian pricks. Proof of that is that in spite of the fact that the Left literally stole the White House there hasn't been any effective, mass movement in response to that. No mass boycotts, no massive street protests, no monkeywrenching, just a boatload of "warriors" pounding their keyboards into submission.

If that is truly the plan, shouldn't you vote for the dem instead of abstaining?
Then, when you finally get a good candidate you'd be pulling a vote away from the dems and adding one for the republicans
