Speaking with Maria Bartiromo yesterday on her weekly Fox News Channel program Sunday Morning Futures, Peter Navarro made a startling charge against his former Trump administration colleague, former Attorney General William Barr. Ivan Pentchoukov reports in the Epoch Times:
The Department of Justice (DOJ) put up hurdles to executive orders prepared by President Donald Trump while fast-tracking the ones prepared by President-elect Joe Biden during the transition period leading up to Inauguration Day on Jan. 20, according to former Trump senior adviser Peter Navarro.
“Bill Barr, President Trump’s attorney general, actually turns out to be Joe Biden’s first attorney general,” Navarro told Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo in an interview aired on Feb. 7. “We had over 30 executive orders queued after Election Day, ready to go, but we kept running into all these roadblocks and hurdles. It turns out that Bill Barr’s Office of Legal Counsel was fast-tracking all of these Biden EOs [executive orders], and basically, it was a deep-state coup.”
Navarro made the remarks when asked to explain how Biden managed to have dozens of executive actions ready to go during his first days in office (snip)

What a FREAKING disappointment BARR is.
I have no knowledge of how DOJ operates. But I know a thing or two about document control. First, nothing at that level gets produced quickly. And it’s all tracked and managed. There is a paper trail that says when each document was initiated, what reviews it went through, who scheduled the review, who participated, who put together the final document, who authorized the release of the final document.
Donald Trump was president up until Jan 20. I bet there is a solid paper trail, from before Jan 20, of the “Trump DOJ” actively working on EOs on behalf of Joe Biden to undo much of the Trump presidency.
Why is that OK?

In a predictable but frightening development conservatives online are openly discussing if a person is morally obligated to follow laws any more, or if being penalized is now the only deterrent to ignoring the law.
If the highest law enforcement authorities can purger themselves without penalty...If the FBI can basically become a seditious conspiracy with zero penalties then what is the moral imperative to follow any law going forward?
As for me I think the FBI should now call themselves the DBI...’democrat bureau of investigation’.

Wouldn’t doubt it a bit. Barr has to be one of the biggest disappointments from the Trump years.
Trump let the threats from the Senate keep him from firing people. Guess what? No matter what he did, the Democrats were going to impeach him again, if not worse. So instead, he let scum remain in office, with no benefit to himself or the country.
