Jaguar were once found in Virginia but that was

Healthy-looking male jaguar like that, I’m almost certain that Arizona Fish & Game has already anaesthetised him, and pulled semen from him, which they’ll either preserve, or use to impregnate captive females.

Build the wall What a terrible thing to say, you'd be cutting off their food supply.

Yeah, but the thing about cats is they can interbreed. Might be some jaguar/panther or ocelot/bobcat hybrids out there.

Cool! I’m in southern AZ. The bottom one looks a bit like a bobcat. Had one in my backyard. A mother bobcat has her litter where we live.

Those mountains are south of I-10 headed towards NM.

Thanks for posting this.
3 years ago, in the wine country, some reliable people reported seeing a big black, CoC mountain lion during and after the big fire.
Flash forward 3 years, and after the second forest fire, this big and dark CoC was seen strolling down the streets of San Francisco.

I wouldn’t say that, there may be an actual breeding population there in addition jaquars have been known to frequent thst territory, I don’t know much about the ocelots.
